Urban contemporary gospel music similar to an Israel Houton, or Kirk Franklin with rap and hip hop influences. Strong driving music, relevant themes, strong vocal presence, as well as some very melodic tracks. G.W.P. is not by any means a traditional gospel artist, but please do not count him out of your church setting. He is sold out to God, he just hears things a little differently than most. If you are trying to reach the lost, this might be the artist you want to consider.

G.W.P. who's given name is Roger Phillips is a singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, and performer. Born in Gary IN he moved to South Bend IN in search of a better life for himself and his family. a known artist in the Gary, he has a CD entitled, There's No Time In Heaven which he wrote, arranged, produced, most all of the songs for, he also recorded and mixed the CD himself. G.W.P. is a seasoned performer, and entertainer, very professional, very prompt, and very courteous. Performs from pre-recorded tracks. Knows how to connect with an audience.
Now that all that "professional" stuff is out of the way, I personally want to say that the message of the gospel is very, very important to me. I'm a little different than alot of people I know...God made us all different I embrace that so what I do musically embraces that...
So if you're looking for "DIFFERENT" well...here I am !!!
For me to come and perform I need a sound system with monitors ( monitors would be nice but not absolutely necessary), a microphone preferably wireless. A means to play my tracks ( laptop, CD player etc).
If you do not have a sound system I have my own
But they will require extra time and expense to bring my system and set it up
