Overview
I am a young cellist with experience in sidelining/on-camera playing, recording, and both solo and collaborative live performance. I am confident in pop/rock, country, baroque, new music, and of course classical. I hold a Masters in Music from UCLA, and I play the bass viol as well.
I greatly enjoy the creative process of working with new people and lending my talents and personality to projects. I'd love to work with you!
If interested, I have a portfolio of wedding appropriate music for cello and piano and/or solo cello that I keep practiced and ready.

What to Expect
When hiring me you can expect a kind, personable, and proficient musician. I am happy to contribute my own thoughts/ideas to a project if collaboration is wanted, but I'm also completely comfortable sticking to playing only what I'm given.
I am skilled in sight-reading. I also have experience putting together and performing ensemble pieces (piano duets, vocal duets, string quartets, small orchestra, etc.) with other musicians with little to no rehearsal.
I have been an extra on sets for many years, so I am knowledgeable of the filming process and what is expected from the sidelining musician.
If you are considering hiring me for a wedding, in addition to my list of preprepared songs, I would love to create an arrangement of any piece that is special to you for that moment! No restriction of song genre.
About
I am an LA based cellist, and I've lived here since finishing my Master's in Music at UCLA at the age of 22 (studying under Antonio Lysy). I received my Bachelors in Music and Bachelors of Science in math from Chapman University. I have been playing cello for over 18 years. In addition to my classical training, I have been formally trained in early music on both cello and bass viol. The instruments I currently own are cello and bass viol, no baroque cello unfortunately.
I have experience in recording cello tracks for some short films, arranging and recording cello tracks for pop/r&b music, recording classical pieces, and playing cello on camera, but right now my main source of income is being a private cello teacher. Over the years I have spent a copious amount of time as an extra on film sets and a slightly smaller amount of time as a sideline musician.
Additional Booking Notes
Anything required for normal cello performance, besides a chair, I can personally bring (music stand, iPad, page turning pedal, etc.).
I have my own clip-on microphone, as well as an amp and the associated cables.
For sidelining: I have a silent bow I can use (bow with no rosin).
