Add an artistic and jazzy touch to your event with saxophonist Hana Dolgin and her band! Hana and her band play Jazz, Latin Jazz, Blues, Brazilian, funk and R&B, according to your taste. Hana is a seasoned pro with an MA in Jazz Performance from Queens College in NY. who studied with legendary jazz saxophonists Jimmy Heath, Lee Konitz and Gary Bartz. Hana's groups range from duos, trios, quartets etc. according to the event, budget and style desired, and can travel when necessary.

Hana Dolgin and her band members performed at our temples holiday event, and all I can say is bravo! Hana and her crew were timely and set up in no time. A few days ago my husband had a birthday and I decided to congratulate him in first minutes (right after midnight). I placed lots of lights and candles on our balcony (we leave in condo), bought cozy furniture, wine and cheeses, balloons. Right under the balcony on a first floor outside I create a phrase"Happy Birthday Pookie" with candles, so from the balcony it looked really romantic. At midnight I woke up my husband (it was pretty hard to explain why he needs to do that lol) and invite him to the balcony. As soon as we get there Hana and her co-worker guitarist (I was so nervous that night that I totally forgot his name :( sorry about that) they start playing. They stayed right next to that phrase. Oh my God guys! To tell that my husband was just in shock .....No.. He was in total shock!!!!!! I invited him to dance and he barely could do that. He was like a stone lol. He couldn't even open his present after. I really appreciate Hana's work. First of all she is amazing saxophonist! She helped me to choose the most romantic songs. My husband really liked all of them. With guitarist they create a perfect team. They are also very organized. They came just in time, and also I have to admit that it is pretty difficult to find musicians who will be ready to play at midnight. So thank you so much guys for your excellent work. You helped me to create one of the best memories for me and my husband.

I perform beautiful music that is exciting and relaxing at the same time. I am a melodic player, with a good sense of rhythm, and people enjoy the music I play. I always play with top notch band members. If you would like mellow background music for an event or an exciting show to be the focus of attention, I can provide either or both.
About
I lived and performed in New York City from (phone number hidden)8. Venues included the Blue Note, Birdland, Yardbird Suite, the Angry Squire, S.O.B.'s, Langan's, the Robert Treat Hotel, and others.
I performed in Paris in 2000 at "Le Petit Journal" with pianist Michel Grailler who played with Chet Baker, and in a live-broadcast concert at the Maison de la Radio, as a guest soloist with the Patrice Gallas trio.

Influences & Inspiration
I have been influenced by mainstream jazz such as Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Paul Desmond, John Coltrane, Lee Konitz, Wayne Shorter and others, as well as by Latin musicians such as Tito Puente, Jose Feliciano, Gilberto Sanatrosa, Roberto Carlos and Antonio Carlos Jobim's beautiful bossa nova music, blues, soul and more. I love all kinds of music, and am always listening to new and old music.
