Hannah Jean's harp music was the perfect backdrop for our Tea annual event. She was talented, elegant and very nice to work with. (She also came early to set up so she was ready to begin before the guests arrived.) The crystal tones of the harp were just lovely. Her music selection was on point, and she was sensitive to keep the volume to a level that the guests could talk among themselves. Many guests commented on how lovely it was to have the harp for the Tea.
I would highly recommend Hannah Jean for a high level event.

Response from Hannah Jean:
Wow, Bonnie!
Thanks for these kind words!!
Your group was wonderful (festive - including the silver boots - and full of laughter) and it was a pleasure to play for you all.
I would love to do it again sometime.
All the best to you! 🎶
Hannah Jean played the hard for my mother's Celebration of Life service while folks came in to the venue. It was lovely culminating in "Moonlight Sonata" on harp.

What to Expect
What to expect:
- Clear and prompt communication while in the planning process for your special event.
- Flexibility and a willingness to try something new - I'm willing to think outside the box.
- Professional presentation and delivery the day of, whatever that means for your occasion.
Whatever atmosphere you want to set, describe it to me and I can create it. I'll ask you for a couple words that describe what you are envisioning your event will feel like and I will use those as my guiding ideas in what and how I play - I'm not just playing music, I'm creating the atmosphere for you.
About
I've been playing for all kinds of occasions for over 15 years and began studying music 27 years ago.
I first wanted to play harp when I heard it on the radio at the age of 4 and the rest is history!
I received my Bachelors in Music Business in 2017 where I trained in classical music at the UW-River Falls. I continued my education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, Scotland, and received my Masters in Scottish Music in 2022. I recently relocated to North Carolina in the Appalachian Mountains and am currently working on completing my certification on Therapeutic Music.
I love to play a variety of music and love to talk about it all, too! Let's talk!
Additional Booking Notes
The most common question is if I will play an outdoor event. I do, but only if I have a structure or tent to play under and only if the temperature is within a certain range.
Sunshine can be as damaging to an instrument as rain.
We need to talk sound equipment! I have my own amp and setup but, depending on the space and acoustics, may need to plug into a larger system to be heard properly.
I will talk more specifics with you after I find out about the venue details. Feel free to ask any questions in the meantime.
