Hans Luchs

The audience can expect to see a performer who loves to to play music for people. I am easy to get along with and have strong communication skills. I am respectful and punctual. I will always bring my best, and the musicians I bring with me will always be great. We will all have a great time!

Hans Luchs is a guitarist living in New York City after relocating in the fall of 2017 from his hometown of Chicago. Hans has performed in a wide array of settings, from small jazz clubs to large outdoor festivals. Hans regularly plays at venues across the country, and has also played internationally in Europe, Canada, and Latin America.

Hans has performed and toured with an array of artists in American music including 8-time Grammy winner Pepe Aguilar, Motown legend Martha Reeves, and many jazz musicians in Chicago, New York, and beyond. As a recording artist, Hans has recorded in various formats as a sideman and leader, including projects produced by NPR and Apple Music.

Hans is also active as a music educator. Currently, he is teaching guitar, ensembles, ukulele, and music production at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

Requirements vary gig to gig, but most often I only need an outlet to plug into, and perhaps some kind of covering if the gig is outdoors.
