Thank you for checking me out. Playing Rhythm guitar, soulful vocals, and world class harmonica solos; John fills the room with beautiful music. With a song selection including artists such as Neil Young, the Who, Smokey Robinson, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Al Green, The Band, Santana, the Beatles, Willie Nelson, John Cougar, Elvis, Jimmy Buffett, and many more, Harmonica John is a sure crowd pleaser. I hope you will pick me to play for you.
If you prefer a band rather than a solo artist, I have people that I play with regularly that can be added if they are available.
I also appear as Santa R. Monica- a Santa Claus tribute person, and can perform Christmas songs for your party.

Pranked my friend for his bachelor party by having John (Santa) come over and provide some gifts and cheer for the weekend. He is a very personal guy and has a sharp whit to be able to improv and embody a beloved Santa clause. He even broke out the harmonica and sang us a couple tunes!!! Definitely the chillest Santa in all of Cali. The bachelor and my friends absolutely loved this experience and this moment will forever live in our memories!! Thanks John

John is a natural entertainer, was a huge hit and did some Christmas songs with our band!

John helped us celebrate an event, not only as Santa, but Santa who jams. He sang us Christmas tunes and is a fantastic harmonica player. He was flexible and accommodating, staying an extra hour for us, and even collaborating with the jazz trio playing at our event. The highlight of the day to me was Santa singing with the jazz trio. I think everyone loved it. But strip away all of that, and most importantly, he is a very warm and kind soul. Very likable, great with the kids, conversational, etc. What else could you ask for. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. John, thanks so much for helping us make the day more fun :)

About
A lifelong drummer, I started playing harmonica when I lost my drums in a moment of stupidity. The rhythmic nature of the harmonica was a natural fit for me. I then started playing guitar and eventually got more drums. I am able to play drums OR guitar while playing harmonica at a high level. I sing from the heart, and really enjoy performing.
Additional Booking Notes
I can be self contained or work with whatever staging set-up provided.
I use professional equipment and know how to use it.

Influences & Inspiration
When I started playing, FM radio was new, and there was so much great music then. I heard John Mayall, J. Geils Band, Canned Heat, Paul Butterfield, and loved the harmonica sound. Later, I discovered Santana, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, and so many more. I now try to recreate the vibes of songs I like with acoustic rhythm guitar, Lead harmonica, and soulful vocals. I also love Bob Marley and Motown music. Not big on Gangsta Rap or Death Metal...
