Harp music that keeps you awake! I am a harpist from the Latin American tradition with many years of experience performing in a variety of countries with the unique capacity and stage presence to connect with audiences combining music with stories and humor.
My repertoire flows from Latin American classic, folk, romantic, to international, contemporary and original music. The Latin American harp music is quite unique and expressive, can generate a variety of textures and musical rhythms making it an entertaining and musically enriching experience. I am flexible and adapt easily to your event...yes it's music for all occasions ...weddings, private parties, birthdays, concerts....
Nicolas is a great harpist. He kept the mood in sync with the Secret Garden theme. He is such a fine musician! So happy he was able to set the mood for my cocktail party for my 70th Birthday!

Nicholas was terrific. He played lively music for us for over three hours with a 45 minute break. All my guests were mesmerized by his harp and lyre. He played background music for our wedding reception and did one solo. Everyone was amazed by the beautiful performance. We will highly recommend him to friends and family. We will definitely hire him again for future events and dinner parties.

Nicolas Carter was raised in Paraguay where he learned to play the Paraguayan harp, the national folk instrument. He has been composing, recording and performing harp music for more than 25 years and has recorded nearly a dozen albums in the United States, Europe and South America, both as a solo artist and with Latin American and world music ensembles. He is often a featured concert performer and master teacher at national and international harp festivals. Nicolas holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre directing from the University of Minnesota.
