We bring Hawaii and the true Aloha Spirit to your Luau Island themed Event. All of our performers are actually from Hawaii providing a truly authentic experience full of ALOHA!
Based in Hawaii, we now have a seasonal Mid-West base, allowing us to book not only in Hawaii but also events hosted Nationwide without having to fly us from the Islands!
We book all types of events from intimate-backyard Luaus to large Corporate Events. We take a hands-on personalized approach throughout the booking process by first speaking with you the client to see what you have planned and what you envision for your Luau then we give you a quote that best fits your event and budget. Weather was just perfect and wanted to plan a surprise luau for our mom’s 80th bday as this is the 1st time she traveled to Hawaii. I wasn’t sure if this can be pulled off on the same day but Volcano responded immediately at 7ish in the morning. Very nice and quick to put together an unforgettable luau experience that evening before sunset. He was so awesome and flexible to work with given it was a last minute plan. He made it happen for us.
During the event Devyon who is also amazing made sure everything was perfect from the start of the ukulele singer who not just sang but shared island stories. She was entertaining and taught us to sing along. Then we watched the different variations of hula dance during dinner with the sunset background facing the beach. The dancers were interactive teaching our young boys to dance. We ended the night with an amazing and exciting fire dance and sat on the beach watching the performance during the sunset. Overall, It was such a memorable experience that we will forever keep close to our hearts. Mahalo!

What to Expect
When your guests arrive at your Luau venue, they are immediately transported to "Hawaii" by way of our beautiful native Performers greeting them with a flower "Lei", the traditional Island expression of hospitality.
As your guests enjoy and mingle during the arrival portion of the Event, they are treated to Island background music performed either live by our musician(s) or pre-recorded.
At the designated moment of the Luau event schedule, the sound of the live Conch Shell blowing pierces the air capturing your guests attention signaling the start of our exciting and entertainment Luau Hula Show.
Our beautiful Hula Dancers from the Islands mesmerize your guests with their grace and centuries old Hula movements, telling a story with their expressive Hula hands.
Our Luau Event MC/Host/Dancers and musicians from Hawaii take your guests on an Island Journey by interacting and sharing the many Island traditions, songs and Hawaiian customs with the audience.
Always a favorite with our audience is when we get your guests off their seats to participate with us in fun-filled interactive Hula Lessons and Hula Contests! (these can be scheduled also throughout your Luau event.
An exciting highlight of our Shows available in most of our regional markets is Polynesia's most exciting dance, the "Samoan Fire Knife Dance"! This dance has long been a tradition at Luau Shows in the Islands featuring a fearless Island Chief who displays his agility, athleticism and bravery in a "take your breath away" dance using a double edged can cutting knife with towering flames lit on both ends!

Volcano Choy-Founder/Producer/performer.....a native Hawaiian, founded Hawaiian Island Entertainment LLC in 2003 with the mission to produce authentic Hawaiian Luau experiences for events not only in Hawaii, but nationwide and abroad. We base our business model on the fact that authentic, native performers from the Islands translates into a truly Hawaiian experience not only in the performance aspect of it, but also in bringing the true warmth of the "Aloha Spirit" from the Islands for Event guests nationwide, a lot of whom may never have had the opportunity to go to Hawaii themselves. We have established bases of operations in Hawaii (Oahu and Hawaii Island) and also now in the Mid-West USA market (OH, PA, MI, WV, IN).
We bring, "Hawaii On Location" to a variety of Luau settings including intimate family "backyard Luaus", Luau Weddings, Retirement and Assisted Living Luau events, University, Colleges and School Cultural and student activities events. We also have performed at many “over the top” National Corporate Luau-themed Events: (Applebees; Moderna Pharmaceutical; Partylite; NASA; Costco; CDW Computers, Tupperware, etc.), internationally for the Hawaii’s Visitors and Convention Bureau, also appearing on TV shows including a Hawaiian Segment for the PBS 20th anniversary Musical Special that was aired internationally during 2018/2019.

Additional Booking Notes
We come self-contained with respects sound and audio as we have our own sound/audio systems specifically set-up for the size of event and our show. Our packages include our own sound/cartage/set-up and breakdown. For large events that have their own sound, we proved a sound-rider that specifies what we need.
