Overview
Born and raised in a sugar cane town on the island of Kauai, Hawaiian music has been a major influence on Ukulele Jack’s cultural and artistic background. From his humble beginnings performing at local island events and luaus, to multiple concerts and Ho’olaulea’s (festivals) across California and beyond, Ukulele Jack’s experience is well known to the local Hawaii expat community. His Hawaiian musical style is best described as ‘Kanikapila’, embracing family and the ambience of the beach, ocean surf, and tropics. Being born, raised, schooled, with extensive roots in the islands to this day, guarantees you are getting the true "Hawaii Island" vibe for your next Hawaiian themed event.

Ukelele Jack is the real deal! He gave just the right aloha vibe to our senior living family special event. He was very responsive to our needs even made a great recommendation for dancers that also worked out great. He did everything he said he would do and more. Uncle Jacks soothing music made my dad’s funeral a peaceful goodbye. He sung over more appropriate “over the rainbow “ and other Hawaiian memorial songs and crated a beautiful aura .

Influences & Inspiration
Influenced by Traditional Hawaiian artists growing up. Brothers Cazimero, Gabby Pahinui, Peter Moon, just to name a few.
Incorporated many Waikiki style songs popularized by Don Ho.
Integrated Newer Hawaii Born Artists Such as Sean Nauao, Bruddah IZ, Willie K, Mana'o Company, & Three Plus which provide that distinct Island "Jawaiian" flavor to the music while modernizing the overall Hawaiian vibe to the music.
