Michael Haywood, questing to restore music to its truest power, equipped by God through revelation and experiences he snatches back Kingdom territory and the hearts of God’s people from the rule, misguidance, and mirages put before them by the world’s culture and ideas.

Michael has a unique sound that fuses elements from multiple genres of music into one new sound. He received his first keyboard from his grandmother who played an instrumental role in his musical journey. She noticed his interest in playing the piano at an early age and took him to his first piano lesson at age seven. Coming from a lineage of musicians, Michael was born to be one himself. He began learning songs to play for church during that time. As he got older he learned more by composing his own songs and by learn songs from his favorite cartoon shows and video games by ear.

This God-given gift was further developed and matured as he began to play the keyboard and piano in the church youth band, his junior high’s and high school’s bands, as well as the Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra. By the favor of God, his gifts and talents has afforded him many great opportunities some of which include touring in Italy with the Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra, ear-training with Dr., participating in the How Sweet the Sound Choir Competition (Regional Winner 2011)

Michael has produced albums and songs for multiple artist. He has also played for many local gospel artists and groups as well as various well-known gospel artists. As a musician, producer, and songwriter, all of Michael’s music is listed on all streaming platforms.

In addition to sharing his unique style of music, he believes in expressing the God kind of love to all and in all his endeavors starting with his family. Michael is blessed to have his beautiful wife of seven years, their super son and precious daughter.

Michael is a member of Columbus Christian Center where Dr. David C. Forbes, Jr. is the pastor. He serves as a minister, a staff employee and the Minister of Music. A music teacher a Crown Preparatory Academy. He is also an Issue Focus minister of the Restoring the Foundations ministry.
