Hazzard County

First off, we love music, and we love people, and we especially love playing music for people. We are often friends with our fans and many of us have long lasting friendships. We talk to our fans/friends before, during and after our playing. It's what we love to do.

If you hire us, you'll find that we're kind, on-time, professional and flexible. And, not to sound cocky, we're pretty darn good...you'll really enjoy the music and the atmosphere. Unless you don't like country music - but you'll still probably enjoy it :).

We are also open and honest; if something doesn't work upfront, we'll cordially let you know of it, and we like the same from our partners. But, we're flexible in both our events and ways of thinking so we'll always try to find solutions, not problems.

The Dukes of Country

Hazzard County is one of Western New York's best options for new and traditional country music. The band consists of seasoned musicians with over a century of combined experience. The band features vocalist and acoustic guitarist JIMMY FLOWERS as a compelling and entertaining front man. ED BURGER brings intricate dynamics with twanging riffs and blistering solos on lead guitar. The rhythm section features TOM MORRIS on bass driving the band forward with a pulsing low end and DERRICK JOHNSON on drums bringing a polished and rock solid beat. Batting cleanup is LEN MORRISSEY. He's the one responsible for the sweet traditional rhythms on guitar, banjo, mandolin and harmonica.

Playing the modern country hits with a few surprises, the band is equally adept at ballads as they are with heavy rockers. We are available as a full band with P.A. and lights or as an opener for a national act. Weddings, parties, small venues, and large, Hazzard County can do it all!

We have all the necessary equipment to rock your venue out, including sound guy/gal, lighting and all professional sound and systems.

We also have no "on-stage monitoring systems". Why is this important? It doesn't just help us save us eardrums :), but we are able to keep the overall sound clean, clear and for the audience. Large monitors for the bands use tends to make the sound muddy, and we try to avoid that if all possible!
