Light your Heart on Fire with Heartsinspyre Entertainment! We are a diverse collective of well trained professional CIRCUS performing artists & fire dancers who not only possess the natural talent and enthusiasm to pursue this passion as a life long commitment but also have the intelligence & experience to be a legal legitimate operation in the state of Wa. with a business license, Fire Marshal's 'Open Flame Effects' permit, and insurance. Fire performance is not a hobby nor a trick, folks! It's real and it's DANGEROUS so take care to hire the real deal.
We also have ACTORS, AERIALIST, STILT WALKERS, SWORD SWALLOWERS, MAGICIANS, CLOWNS, TAROT READERS, BELLY & BURLESQUE DANCERS!
Asraiya and her colleague provided a really engaging performance at our Gala in downtown Seattle. Guests were truly inspired and awed by the performance, and lingered in the ballroom as our production crew transitioned from the formal program to our musical entertainment - which is exactly what we hoped would take place.
The performers chose audience-appropriate music and costuming to fit our more conservative demographic. We also had live video of the performance, and it really accentuated the uniqueness - so fun!
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that there was a lot of back and forth in the planning of the performance, and I would have appreciated knowing all the ins and outs up front. That being said, I certainly realize there are a lot of logistics that need to be addressed in a performance like this, especially in a hotel ballroom - permitting, fire marshal approval, legal limitations, etc. There were just a couple items that were missed in the initial request. It all worked out in the end and we had really happy guests.
I would definitely recommend Heartsinspyre to other professional event planners.
Response from Heartsinspyre:
There really was an exceptional amount of back and forth the week leading to this event. I'm amazed myself, sometimes, at time and stress that can go into a production of this caliber so that it's safe for the public and meets all permit requirements. For the record, I get paid for what I'm consistently able to deliver as a performance for what I offer as an entertainment service. We did complete all parts of the contract I submitted to the client and the event was indeed a successful fundraiser! However, I was not paid a salary for planning the event so maybe I can deduct a star from my taxes as a non-profit donation? Oh well.. Thanks. Cheers ~
The two performers for our party were incredibly professional and kind. They arrived early and we're flexible with performance space and music choices, did a wonderful job of catering to event needs. The performances were above and beyond gorgeous and highly entertaining. Everyone of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience, a d raved about it throughout the night and continue to days after the party. The birthday girl will never forget her event. Thank you Heatsinspyre for truly blowing our minds with your level of talent. Cheers!
I reached out to Asraiya a mere week before our event - a non-conventional baby shower on Halloween weekend. She let me know it was a tough weekend to find fire dancers, and then said "Let me reach out to some people and I'll get back to you tomorrow". When she called me the next night, she'd found 2 other performers to join her. I almost died from excitement. They came to the house and were ready to go in minutes, and gave an incredible performance. Really skilled, beautiful, fluid performances. We had two very happy parents to be (and a mesmerized "crowd" of 20). They were all lovely people, super accommodating, and generally awesome.
Response from Heartsinspyre:
Thanks so much for hiring us, Molly!! We're absolutely thrilled you enjoyed it!
I've worked with Asraiya at several events, and she without a doubt one of the 'good ones' in the Seattle Area. I've seen her stilt walking, fire dancing with poi, staff, fingers and a few other tools, and clowning, and no matter what the occasion, she always dives headlong into making it something special and puts 110% into it.
Definitely a great person to have on your team if you want to make your event above average and memorable.
Asraiya enters the space where she will perform with one little flame burning, and before you know it, there is a blur of yellow light. She dances with the fire without fear. It is electrifying, mesmerizing. Start your evening with her performance, and you will feel its power for hours!
I have seen and booked Asraiya on several occasions. Fire Spinning is not something I commonly see at events. Having that form of entertainments leaves a residual vibe that truly couldn't be accomplished with any other hire. It literally gets the party all fired up! The talent she brings to the table truly gets the crowd going. Having her spin at my benefit concert brought a lot of new attention to the type of work she does, I still have people asking me how to get involved in learning the techniques. I would book her for any event I threw. She is truly amazing at what she does.

Looking to book a fire performer for your party or event? We'd love more info! Will it take place outdoors or indoors? What approx. is the dimensions of the space you can provide for it? How long do you expect the performance to be? What most people don't realize or think about prior to sending booking requests is that our torches or tools only last between 2-8 mins before burning out and then we need to stop, let wicks cool, and then refuel so it's impossible for only 1 performer to do a constant/consistent half hour to hour long show without taking a 5-6 min break in between lighting up & spinning. Also, it's hot!! If you push a performer to provide you with 5-6 sets or as close to constant as they can get within an hour, they might pass out on you because this is equivalent to doing pilates or zumba in a sauna or hot sweat box yoga studio! They may be fit enough for it but it may not be attractive. What we suggest is either allow the performer to cool off and strictly provide more leisurely periodic ambient performance for the duration of an hour (approx. 3 sets), or if you want a really high energy 20-30 min solid show (4-6 sets or for periods lasting more than one hour) hire more than one fire dancer so they can take turns! The more performers you hire the more of a variety of props, personality, and talent you get as well.
Heartsinspyre Entertainment is the troupe and theatrical production company founded by Asraiya On Fire in 2010. It is comprised of 5 or 6 regular committed members and a whole huge community of creatives & networking contacts she has come to know and respect as not only excellent performing artists but also reliable business connections accumulated in her 20 years of working and performing in the West Coast Circus circuit. Here's her story as means for a biography:
Asraiya became interested in circus arts after college wondering if it might offer the artistic challenge she found to be lacking in traditional theater studies. The stage had become stagnant to her not being allowed any sort of variation from a script as interpreted by a single director with no regards to the actors artistic opinion. Plus it seemed to her the world was entering uncharted territory spiritually, collectively, and she felt this new stage of evolution should be reflected in the performances she puts out. So in '96 Asraiya quit her job at Starbucks and ran away to join the alternative modern circus group called The Ever-Changing Festival of Now in Olympia, Wa. It was there she found her clown face, was handed a torch by a fire goddess, and learned to walk around with her feet more than 2' above the ground.
Since then she been in a whole slew of shows and circus troupes starting with the Burning Man Fire Conclave (Black Rock, Nv. (phone number hidden)5), MagmaVOX (Seattle, Wa. 1999), Moorish Orthodox Fire Shrine (Tucson, Az (phone number hidden)1), Mystic Family Circus (San Francisco, Ca. (phone number hidden)2), PURE Cirkus (Seattle (phone number hidden)6), the Petting Zoo Players (Seattle (phone number hidden)9), Spinergy Arts (Seattle (phone number hidden)9), Super Geek League (touring 2010), and she played the Demoness in Arakus Production's heavy metal opera, Aeterno Elementum (Everett, Wa. (phone number hidden)1). In 2012 she debuted an original script adaption of a Goethe short story she not only wrote, directed, but also performed in called 'The Fairy Tale of the Green Snake and the Beautiful Lily' on Summer Solstice weekend at the Historic Everett Theatre as her first official public event as Heartsinspyre Entertainment presents. Since then she has been a regular event promoter all over town (see website for complete list of appearances both past and upcoming).
Her sole motivation in life is to inspire the human race to see a little beyond the standard perception by fully embracing freedom, exhibiting a conscience understanding of the universal consistency of the human condition, all as expressions of peace, love, and the will to follow a dream. Cheers ~
Amplified sound system for musical accompaniment for us to dance to is certainly preferred unless it's a wandering character gig. A fire extinguisher should be on premise.
