Helen Koenig, Violinist/Fiddler

I am a classically trained violinist who has experience in a wide variety of genres - classical, folk, jazz, contemporary, pop/indie covers, you name it! I am happy to learn by ear and adapt pretty much any kind of music to solo violin. I love creative musical collaboration!

I got my Bachelors in Violin Performance from Western Washington University, where I studied under Grant Donnellan. I have also studied at the University of British Columbia. I currently play in the Bellingham Symphony, and often collaborate with other local ensembles such as the Bellingham Chamber Chorale. I have performed solo and in groups at various local venues. I also teach violin lessons through Bellingham Music.
