I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate you for making adding such an elegant element to the party!! Priya was so accommodating to all of my guests...The artwork that she provided seemed to give everyone a boost of pride...It was simply beautiful...Thank you so much!!

I really don't know where to start! Priya is one of the best henna artists in the US!! We booked her for our daughter's 14th birthday party. On the day of event she arrived on time and was so easy to work with! She has a welcoming personality and listens to your ideas/vision. We were having a totoro theme party and she was happy to oblige by including some totoro options the day of! Her talent is unparalleled and her pieces truly unique. She's so creative, you truly will never regret getting your body adorned by her beautiful art.
Would definitely recommend and book again!

Priya is great!

I hired her for a belly blessing when I was 36 weeks along. This was my first henna and I absolutely loved it. Priya was so warm and welcoming, and she is amazingly talented! She incorporated a personal touch and kept me totally in on the design process as she went (and kept suck a steady hand even though my little one was moving around). She was so nice and worked with me when I had scheduling problems. All around an awesome experience! I will definitely be going back for more henna this summer and taking my whole family, and I'm already thinking about how fun it would be to hire her for a birthday party sometime in the future.

We had a engagement ceremony at our house and we had Priya, I can't help but say she was AMAZING. Truly an artist! She has all her material and designs ready. She has such a great collection of designs and colors that are very unique (I went to few henna parties, and by far Priya's collection was the most unique).
Priya was also very nice with everybody, she waited for people to make up their mind and was very patient which I really appreciate.
I definitely recommend Priya if you have a party or if out just want to have a nice henna drawn for fun. Will definitely use her services again!!

Look no further for an amazing henna artist! I hired Priya to come do henna at a bridal shower yesterday, and she was beyond AMAZING! Her work is phenomenal and she is such a sweet person. She pays great attention to detail and has a great personality. All the guests loved her work and they can't wait for me to bring her to another party very soon :)

Priya was our henna tattoo artist for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party. She's truly a gifted henna artist and her service or should I say art work is truly beyond anything else I have come across in all of DC area or anywhere else really. From the time she walked in until the minute she left, she was nothing short of an amazing tattoo artist! She was friendly, humble and very much a professional in her art(the girls were fascinated by her artistic ability). Add to that her amazing personality and you get well over your money's worth with her.

Her speed is amazing and designs are eloquent.

She has done henna on me a couple of times and I've never been disappointed. I've gotten plenty of compliments and I feel that it's a sexy, safe and non-permanent accessory when going out. It's also a plus that you never end up with the same thing.

My favourite about henna is the detail. It's a beautiful art form and Priya is quite the artist.
I love the personal service she gives to her projects. Before she starts she consults with you about what you are looking for (I, myself, was surprised to learn there are a couple of styles of henna art and she is awesome at all) , educates you on henna (never get it done at the beach!) and answers questions, if any, that you may have. She expertly drew a complicated and intricate Moroccan, freestyle design on my hand. Her paste smelled divine and was home made, a huge plus for a henna snob like me. It stained a gorgeous deep brown color that stayed for weeks on the back of my hand.
Priya is a sweet and gifted woman/artist and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way.
I can't wait to get it done again..!

Priya was the forth person I've got henna from and I fell in love with her henna work! Now, I am addicted to henna...and this is the best henna I have ever received! She can do very traditional or free style what ever you want. Her freestyle design was THE BEST, and it showed very well on my skin. I had two ideas; one from a picture and one from my thought. She ran with both and made them look so amazing and beautiful!! She is truly talented!
Plus, she is extremely reasonably priced! I don't think any other place with her prices could do the work she does. wouldn't ever go anywhere else!! And I will continue to keep going back..

Extremely satisfied with her service! I booked her on short notice but I am happy that she was able to accommodate me. I loved my experience with Priya's henna service. She was on time to my place. I can't count the compliments I get on my henna tattoo :-) I wish I could post the picture of my henna but gigsalad does not have that feature it seems. This was my first session and can not wait to get more.

I booked Priya for my sister’s Baby Shower. She communicated prior to the event to ensure we were all on the same page. She also arrived punctually for the event. She performed her job well and her work was amazing.

What I did not like was her lack of adaptability. She was not very willing to change in order to suit different conditions.

I did not book the location site, but rather came in on the back end of everything in terms of planning. The center was much smaller in person than expected. This was in no way Priya’s fault, but I had to work with what I had. I wanted to move Priya to the hallway directly outside of the room, because we were literally running out of space. There were glass panels and you could see everything going on.
But Priya felt it would be too cold for her to be in the hallway with the door opening and closing even though the door was on the opposite side of the hall. As though I was putting her outside in the cold on the front steps. I wanted to move her to another side of the room, but she would have been in the way of visitors going back and forth. So finally, we decided on an area near the front door which really did not work, but “I had to make Priya happy.”

While my sister and the father were opening gifts, Priya came to me and informed me that she would be leaving shortly and needed to be paid.
I had to interrupt the father while they were opening gifts so he could go pay Priya.

After she was paid, and he returned to opening gifts, Priya came to me again and told me although she was paid $200 she was owed a balance of $8.
So again, I had to interrupt the father to advice him of this. By now, he was beyond irked, because of all the money he had invested in her. Our family was also extremely frustrated and offended at this point.

Priya was paid hundreds of dollars for her services. Not just that, but my sister even incorporated her services for a belly blessing which also cost additional. So not only did I think it was tacky to come to me about an additional $8 but I was downright offended.

I felt she could have contacted me after the shower or sent me a friendly reminder via email or PayPal.

I told her “It’s only $8, I will get your money to you.” Which I did.

Overall, her work was good, but she needs work on her flexibility and timing.

Priya is an amazing artist with a lovely, warm personality. She did my bridal henna and stayed on to do henna for friends and family at our Henna party. A good friend of mine referred me to her henna services. Later, we discussed over the phone and emails to make our appointment and I told her what I was thinking for my henna. I couldn't have been happier with my henna and everyone had such a good time at the party! I loved looking around the room and seeing everyone smiling and laughing and showing off their henna. She uses all-natural paste, which was great on my sensitive skin and provides a really rich, dark stain. Thank you Priya, for making my wedding weekend extra special!

Did a beautiful job and i am gonna hire her again.
