Herman Jones

Herman Jones is the definition of cool, calm and collected. Maybe this comes from his years of experience in the music industry or his ability to take moments of hardship and turn them into a positive, either way he is his style and show are a combination of all the above and remain unforgettable. His style is a combination of Nat King Cole meets The Temptations. Drawing from his love of oldies and R&B his show takes you on a ride of "Fly Me to the Moon" all the way to "Sunny" or "My Girl."

Recalling his childhood Herman says,"Growing up in the 70's was a time of great rhythmn and lyrics, you had artist like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder breaking out onto the scene. to this day they remain one of my greatest inspirations" Jones says, "I can recall leaving school and either heading out to the basketball court and listening to music on the jukebox or going with the crew and singing on the corner. Those were unforgettable times."

Though he always had a passion and love for music, it wasn't till six years ago that Jones decided to take that passion and make it a profession. Since that time he has performed at such places as Faneiul Hall, NU Cafe, and Spirit of Shrewsbury. He has also recorded numerous songs including two of his favorites, "I'll Be Around" and "Sunny."
