This band was great! They had such energy and a great selection of music. They really engaged with the crowd of all ages and provided a very fun atmosphere for our fall festival.

What to Expect
High Street is a high energy band with music tailored towards dancing styles like Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing. We play for both dancers and those who wish to remain seated, but most people can't help but dance when listening to this genre of music. Our audience varies greatly, sometimes being mostly teenagers, and sometimes being mostly elderly folks. Regardless of age, everyone thoroughly enjoys listening and watching. We aim to recreate the youthful, rambunctious energy of rock n' roll through our music, our stage presence, and of course... coordinated vintage outfits!
About
The name High Street is taken from the main thoroughfare in Pottstown, PA. Founding members Richard Thomas and former lead guitarist Nick DiDonato spent many years at the Ballroom on High developing a love for vintage dance. When they had the idea to form the group, they wanted the name to represent a place that felt like home. In 2023, they decided it was finally time to assemble the band.
High Street's first live show was in September of 2023. They've had many memorable performances since then, including multiple swing dances, car shows, and school sock hops. This past October they recorded their first debut album set to release in 2025.
The group now plays as a trio with current members Richard Thomas (lead vocals/guitar), Bradley Herring (bass/vocals), and Austin Bright (drums/vocals).
As High Street continues to evolve, our mission remains the same: Sharing the joy of music and dancing through the sounds of 50's Rock n' Roll.
