First thing people will notice about me it I'm a very smiley person. Its easy to see I have fun. While the best event plans can have a curve ball thrown at them, as a performer, I'm very quick to ebb and flow with any dynamic handed my way. I think I also offer a peace of mind. I have great pre-planning communication, I will show up on time and I will be dressed appropriately for the event. I listen and am easy to work with. I'm mindful of volume and take no issue with being told to take it down a notch. (Or up a notch!)
From the audience point of view, they'll see a strong female musician with a sense of humor that can tell a funny story, is quick witted, and play piano/keyboards with skill along with solid vocals.
I was born to a musically talented mother, who played piano and sang live on her own radio show and with a brother who played guitar and sang professionally since age 15 and who brought me into his band as my first professional experience. By age 18 I was working full time as a professional keyboard player and lead singer/songwriter. Throughout my 30+ years in the music business I performed as a true "on the road" musician playing 300 dates a year making my sole-living working in many styles of bands and acts; from a piano/vocal solo, to a 7 piece show band, where I have performed throughout 11 western states and Alaska, and all over Nevada playing large casinos, such as Harrah’s and The Nugget.
I really enjoy playing a solo act and happy that I have many ways to mold my act into different settings from relaxing piano/vocals to keyboards, key bass and drum beat.
