What to Expect? First we arrive early to set up, bring our own sound and lights and always change to performance attire for your occasion and ready to start on time !
We present a FUN ,Fast paced [ no down time between songs] dance music and mix in those slow dance ballads along with audience participation ,Lots of Laughs and a few gag gifts for dancers to make it a night to enjoy and remember !
Our dance show is all your favorite dance music 70s 80s 60s and current .... FOR EXAMPLE : typical nights music includes audience participation such as Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Mambo #5, Fireball, the Twist plus great dance songs from Do ya love me, Wully Bully to uptown Funk, last Dance, Funky Town, September Superfreak, Build me up Buttercup, Old time Rock and Roll [ examples] ...to slow dance ballads from standards like You don't bring me flowers [ duet], Unchained Melody, Always and Forever, Somewhere out there [duet] and we can blend in some latin, waltz and specialized dances for the folks thats mom or dance class taught them some ''moves'' ...... again this all of this is an example mix and we have so many songs we can tailor the night for the dancers just ask OR we can read the crowd and roll with the flow !
Our references will tell you we keep the dancers and audience happy all night long ! Thats our job and what we love to do !

*John : Comes from North Alabama , growing up there and performing in the area at a young age
and studio work in Muscle Shoals getting to play for and meet all the artists/ hit makers coming thru was a definite influence then going on the road performing all over the USA and World for 15 years as a touring musician is the background to appreciate and perform all types of music. John Sings lead vocals and harmony plus plays guitar and keyboards [ thanks to his moms insistence on piano lessons early on] and also sequences and records all backing instruments you will hear during the night that are not live on stage. John permanently moved to south Florida in 2017 to be at the beach and infinite warm sunny weather!
*Sherry: hails from Ma. and moved here to S Fl. about the same time john did and thru contacts found each other and put the Bootyshaker show band together. Sherry has a huge influence of music and good taste in performing as you will see, she took piano lessons early on and her mom and dad presented her with a wide variety of music influencing her music taste and style .
You will hear the influences in Sherry and John's lead vocals, their harmony and especially in the duets during the night performing songs a lot of acts would not attempt, and you will love !
