Hot Taters

We hired Hot Taters to perform at an outdoor event just in advance of Veterans Day so we wanted patriotic themed music. Hot Taters did that and more. If you’re looking for an upbeat, engaging group then Hot Taters is the group for you AND they incorporated patriotic clothing as well. It was a hoot!

These guys were super fun and a great choice. They accommodated our event and everyone who attended said they were super fun.

Peter Jensen and his band of merry men made an extremely sad day one of joy for our extended family and many many friends 150 in all. My husband always said he wanted a New Orleans second line jazz funeral and boy did they deliver! I didn't really know how to coordinate it but Pete took over leading us all with a slow jazz piece up to the indoor where the ceremony was to take place (first line). Once we put my husbands urn into his beloved race boat there was a moment of silence and THEN Holy smoke they broke into happy music and led us all around and around (second line). I could just be in the moment not having to think of anything but just being part of it all!!!!! And let me tell you he hit it out of the ballpark! This was in the beginning of June it is now July and people are still commenting on it as the very best funeral they had ever attended. I also want to mention that many of the men drove over 2 hours to get here because they knew I wanted to give this final gift to my husband Thank you to Pete and his wonderful ensemble for making it all happen.

Hot Taters has been a stellar attraction at a special Independence Day celebration at Tower Hill Church for several years. It wouldn't be the same without them! They love to include the audience in the old favorites, and really know how to keep a party going!

The Hot Taters entertained at a very active senior center in Norristown PA.-- Montco SAAC. They were excellent. The audience had a great time. The band members are so personable and their enthusiastic attitude had many dancing and singing along.

Hot Taters gigged at our senior adult activity center. Thanks to their swinging beat and energetic groove, folks couldn't resist clapping their hands and moving their feet. An absolutely fantastic time was had by all. Thanks Hot Taters-- please come back for another visit.

Our Residents cannot wait until "HOT TATERS" returns to entertain for another afternoon. The band was absolutely sensational, not only with the music, but in their ability to engage the residents during the performance. Thanks a million!

The Hot Taters definitely made our 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Four Seasons community a huge success. Their entertainment was second to none. Outstanding

We are a college swing dance club and hired the Hot Taters for one of our three swing riots a year. Not only did they come with great character and enthusiasm, but they were easy to work with, responsive and creative. We loved having them and their great sound. If you are looking for a fast paced, fun loving and funky group you've found them!

The Deacons at Warminster Presbyterian Church hold an annual themed senior luncheon for all congregants 65 and older. This year's theme was Mardi Gras, and we had the Hot Taters as the entertainment. The band was excellent! Every one had such a good time, and the bad was so good at involving the attendees in their performance. We received many Thank You cards from the attendees, all noting how much they loved he band. We will definitely look to hire them for future for events!

Pete Jenson (band leader) was vibrant and energetic on stage and very interactive with the crowd. All of the other band members were also very interactive and played an excellent 1-hour set. Our congregants loved the show.

From a business end, Pete Jensen was very accessible to discuss and plan the event. He offered very reasonable pricing and offered very flexible payment options. There were no hidden charges and we were billed what was quoted.

In addition, the band was extremely flexible with the needs of the venue (e.g. stage/set up size, accessibility, etc.) and Pete only asked that we had enough electrical outlets. The band took very little time to set up and was not disruptive at all. They also were very efficient and considerate when "breaking down" after the performance and did not disrupt any post-band activities.

I fully recommend the Hot Taters.

The Hot Taters performed in Bradley Beach NJ, for a wonderful Forth of July weekend show. They put on a great show, full of fun, and crowd engagement! Everyone had a great time, full of smiles and dancing, and I am still getting positive feedback from the audience. They are a talented and fun group, and would recommend them highly! -Nicole

We had a great time when the Hot Taters performed at our Senior Center. The band played with great enthusiasm. The keyboardist seemed to really to be enjoying what he was doing. They wore costumes reminiscent of the Music Man. They played a nice variety of tunes.

The Hot Taters had the group totally engaged in our facility last week. The music was fantastic and the personality of the band had the crowd on their toes, clapping and humming along if they did not know the songs. Thanks for a great event.

The Hot Taters delivered a better time than anyone expected. We were all toe tapping, singing along and even those who never dance were out on the floor. The Taters strutted, performed and clowned around and their vocalist Demetria Bailey was marvelous.

Our guests are still in awe about the addition of this amazing band to my husband's surprise 30th birthday. The Hot Taters were amazing and even braved the 20 degree winter temps to make sure our second line was successful! Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Excellent musicians that embody the soul of Mardi Gras. This band brought the party. They went above and beyond to make the event a success. Very professional. You will not be disappointed.

It was a jumpin' jazz event for our loyal guests. . The Hot Taters are THE most skilled and 'jive' group around. . we were sooo very fortunate to find them and to share them & their amazing sound with our guests ~ Thanks Pete!

We hired Pete Jensen and the Hot Taters for the 90th birthday party of a dear friend who grew up in New Orleans. Many of the 80 or so guests were also brought up in the New Orleans culture. The Hot Taters were the hit of the entire party. They arrived in brightly colored Mardu Gras costumes, performed "When The Saints" and other traditional Dixieland tunes and had the whole party dancing and clapping! They even led a "second line" throughout the entire property, and of course they led everyone in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday." I highly recommend the Hot Taters.

Hot Taters put on a very entertaining gig on Sunday 7/14/13 for our Cape May Traditional Jazz Society at the VFW in Cape May, NJ. Pete Jensen and his Hot Taters guys were a lively swinging fun show of some great old traditional New Orleans/Dixieland songs. We had a good crowd of Dixieland lovers that gave Pete and his guys a standing ovation after the "Saints". We look forward to the Hot Taters return to the VFW in November for their next gig.

Hot Taters performed for Glen Foerd's annual summer concert series. The audience had a super fun time. They put on quite a show. Everyone raved about the show and what a great time they had.

We hired the "Hot Taters" to entertain at our "Friday Nights at the Lake" and Farmers Market in downtown Hightstown. They have played for the past 4 years. Everyone enjoys their music hence giving us a great turnout.
The only regret I have Is that due to the shortened market days this year we are only able to have them once. I would bring them back in a second.
You will truly enjoy their music for any occasion. Very professional to work with and friendly ! I would highly recommend ! Especially outdoors !
