We are one of the fastest growing country acts in the Rocky Mountains, we logged over 5000 tour miles last year [2022] across three states! The band will get folks up and grooving and scootin' to the beat in no time!

We are available in solo, duo, trio or 4-piece format to suit any size event. Hugh can play a super chill solo acoustic set for nice background music, a duo or trio for an acoustic/harmony vocal groove or he can bring the whole band for a rocking good time. We will make it easy to suit your needs and event style.
With available 1000-watt sound system, and 30 channel mixer you can be assured great sound in most any space. We also have a small array of lighting for small stages.
We perform a ton of Colorado Country originals and lots of unique covers from red dirt to old school country. Keep in mind we aren't a cover band and rarely do requests, but we will please even the most decerning country fan!

With sultry three-part harmonies to whipped up mandolin and gliding acoustic guitar all with a rhythm section that's tight and tuned you will be rocking and dancing the night away.
Hugh’s debut album 'It's Been a Long Time' hit #1 top Spins in Colorado and #2 on the Top 50 Global Country Album Chart during its release cycle so, clearly there is lots to love.
The Hugh Phillips Band is from Carbondale Colorado. They were nominated as the Best New Artist/Band, Best New Male Vocalist, and Best New Americana/Country Song [Hi-Ways] on the Colorado Playlist 2021 Listener Poll. They perform originals and some covers that really get the crowd going. Think Merle, Waylon, Sturgill Simpson, Zac Brown and a host of others.

First off, Hugh is very easy to work with and is open to however the client wants the event to go. There is plenty of gear to make your event the best it can be, but we do have some requisitions.

Here it is:
We have 1000-watt PA system, with 1200W sub and 3 powered monitors. The band uses wireless IEM and wireless instruments for larger events with elevated stages. Mixing console is 30 CH with 16CH snake out to house if needed.
We have a full backline.
We have a 10x10 ez-up shelter with sides.
All equipment is available for rent both for the show and separately.
The performers need to have access to clean drinking water, shade and shelter from the weather. If the show is longer than 3 hours food must be provided.
The band needs close access [within 10 feet] 120/15amp grounded power minimum.
We need close secure load in/out for the band and secure parking for the high roof van.
In some circumstances the band and its crew need security for their equipment and persons.
