IMPORTANT
Proper production value, is a big (and often neglected) factor in a successful comedy show. This means, lights, sound, and proper seating. Attention to detail in these categories is something that should be included in whichever comedy show you choose. I do not consider attention to detail in those categories to be optional, as they are essential is delivering you a SHOW and ensuring your satisfaction.
A typical show will consist of host, feature, headliner and last 60-90 min. depending on your needs.

We hosted a comedy event at our venue and Ian was awesome! Found some key points of our town and worked them into his set. Also did great crowd work! Already talked with him about coming back again!
This show was our first comedy event since opening in June or 2023. We learned of Ian Pope through our headliner and references at the Funnybone Comedy Club. Ian’s offstage presence was great and made new friends in a matter of seconds.
Ian’s onstage performance was perfect. His delivery and crowd engagement were top notch. There was never a dull in his set. I would recommend Ian to any event large or small he has a great personality and even better comedic performance.

Over the last 3 years I have hired Ian Pope as a comedian in a show. He has amazing quick wit that you don't see in most local comedians. I plan on hiring him again for my future shows I host in Central Iowa.
