Ian was great from the minute we booked until after our event. He was really receptive to song requests and ideas, went with the flow, and did a really nice job. Ian was early to set up and was completely professions. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the music, and he even let us sing along. I would definitely hire him again.

To be fair there was no guidelines set for the type of music required and my bio has my song list and the type of music I perform. I think some of the crowd was expecting a country music act which I clearly am not. Also, the person who booked me was hosting another party for herself elsewhere. And on that evening there were some very bad thunderstorms in the area during the performance along with high winds and lightning that damaged some of my equipment and my guitar. I expressed concerns before the performance but the decision was made to hold the show outdoors in a pavillion in an open field with no bathroom facilities instead of inside. The crowd that did stay was very responsive to the music and I received numerous requests, compliments, and tips. And some of the audience even requested that I play more songs after the ending time and I gladly agreed.
In the numerous years of doing GigSalad shows this is the first bad review I've ever received. Because of the weather and performance area I could have declined to perform but I did so anyways.
Ian was very professional and worked for our needs. Also booked the day before the event! Thanks Ian!
