I am a professional artist and face painter who can wave her magic paintbrush and turn your child into any character or adorable (or fierce) animal in just a few minutes.

As a balloon artist I can make large balloon flowers, animals, instruments and more.

I grew up in Potomac, MD. Potomac is known as the Beverly Hills 902210 of Maryland. My friends and I nicknamed our neighborhood in Potomac "the slums" because we all only had three, four or five bedroom houses (instead of the Dynasty mansions on the other side of town).
I studied Art and Science Education at the University of Maryland as well as Animation at Montgomery College, Maryland. I hold certificates in all three areas. In my previous life, I was an Art teacher. I developed a program that included Science. Instead of just painted we would build balloon powered cars and race them. Instead of painting a Monet we compared mixing liqid paints vs colored light. We explored shadows with silhuoette art. When I say Art, I stretch it and push the envelope. My idea of a birthday party could include any of the above activities and more.

Ballooning is something I have done for children at carnivals at the camp I worked for. I know what working quickly means when small children are waiting for their balloons. I can make more complex sculptures or simple ones. I can even make balloons as center pieces or decorations.

I do at times collaborate with dance or Zumba instructors, so if you are in need of an art and dance event, please let me know. This will factor into my fees as space may need to be rented.

Newtown I color is science parties. Activities include colorful Chemical reactions in the building magnetics sculptures to name a few. A short show is followed by activities. Recommended ages 9 and up.

I reserve the right to raise fees for all events, depending on group size. For groups larger than 15 (16 and above), I add a 25% fee per extra five children.

For face painting, I will need three chairs and a table sized 36 X 54 inches or more. Lighting should be bright. A clean bathroom or sink must be nearby.

For glow parties or for events where I will be doing silhouette art, I will need a room that is 25 by 25 feet or more. I need to know how many windows are in the room. It should be be mostly clear of furniture. For silhouette art, specifically, I need a white wall that is 10 by 20 feet in area or more.
