Keith Thomas Cotugno, professionally known as Ides, is an electronic music DJ and producer. His expansive knowledge of music and the arts have led him to become an intuitive and creative individual within his homeland of Long Island and the Tri-state New York local music scene.

Since the early age of 10, Keith has been immersed in drumming. With over 15 years as a drummer, he has perfected his sound by crafting original nuances that make his drumming style so captivating. At age 17, Keith formed White Line Tiger, a progressive/metal rock band. Keith has performed with White Line Tiger for the past 10 years throughout L.I. and Manhattan, most notably performing at The Knitting Factory and Sullivan Room in NYC. White Line Tiger’s strong fan base is a true testament to who they are and what they are about – rock entertainment at maximum intensity. Armed with almost two decades of music comprehension and expertise, he has taken his skills to the next level by expanding his sphere of influence into the world of producing and DJing. Keith’s dexterity as a percussionist is a nod to his ability to create distinctive rhythms in his music and instinctively mesh beats together with ease and precision to create layered, deep energetic tracks.

In regards to his work as a DJ and producer, he has been influenced by many genres of music. His main musical influences include deep, tech and house artists such as Hot Since 82, Booka Shade, Dusky and Mark Knight among many more.. In his home studio, Keith produces house and hip hop tracks in collaboration with local rappers and artists. He has been producing since the age of 21 and has gained notoriety among local DJ’s as well as rapidly obtaining devoted fans.

Ides is grounded and professional. Whether working private parties such as birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings or pumping out the hottest of deep and tech house music at various clubs, he has a natural talent for bringing the party to the level you want it to be.
