I sing and play acoustic guitar & ukulele, specializing in Island & Hawaiian Music. I also like to mix in a little pop, country, R&B, and reggae music. Need a band? I can round one up for you! My journey in the world of music began 30 years ago. Since then, I've been entertaining audiences with my soulful voice, guitar melodies, and the enchanting sounds of the Ukulele. I strive in utilizing music as a therapy for you to forget your worries as we take a journey to a place of bliss where we can sing & laugh together while swaying to the rhythm.

Vince was amazing in his song tribute to my father. We had a Hawaiian Celebration of Life for my father with a beautiful accompaniment both during the chapel service and afterward for food and storytelling of my father’s Life. Bruddah Vince was professional, warm, friendly and his playing and song were perfect and beautiful. I would use his skillful playing and song over and over again!

Our End of Summer Luau was a huge success, thanks in large part to the wonderful ukulele performance. They entertained almost the whole time they were there and sound superb.
Vince supplied us with his extensive song list before the event and we were able to pick a few out

Vince and Lucy were the absolute best!! I could not have asked for anyone better! Not only did they arrive early (which is always a nice weight off the shoulders) but they were so accommodating to our residents here. One of our ladies wanted to do a hula dance and brought her CD and CD player with her, and without hesitation they helped hook it up to their speakers so that she could perform. They also took a request and sung Happy Birthday to another resident. Their voices were amazing, the sound was awesome and they truly helped bring our luau party to life! I will definitely be booking these guys again! Thank you both so much Vince and Lucy!!

We liked Bruddah Vince so much we hired him again the next week to play for family. Bruddah Vince was reliable and responsive. In my search for a Ukulele player for a proposal I was left without response from many advertising on Gigsalad. When I reached out to Bruddah Vince he immediately responded and I was easily able to tell him everything I wanted and needed from him as we emailed/texted back and forth. The actual performance was amazing. Bruddah Vince created a wonderful ambiance that completely transformed the proposal. Frankly, if I hadn't had the confidence in Bruddah Vince, I would have had to go with an entirely different proposal plan. Bruddah Vince's provided that Hawaiian vibe with his smooth, relaxing voice and nice ukulele play. He sounds much better in person than youtube! Bruddah Vince is the absolute BEST! We booked him for my father-in-law’s memorial service. My father-in-law passed from cancer before he could make it out to his first trip ever to Hawaii. So, we wanted to bring the beauty of the islands to his service. And boy, did Bruddah Vince do just that! Stellar performance throughout! And he was so accommodating! I had pre-selected songs for the service. He went out of his way to learn the songs and even performed them with so much feeling and emotion. He had the entire congregation in tears!

It’s as if I IZ was playing at our event (as so many guest told us afterwards). Vince even learned a new song just for us, Ahi Wela/Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by IZ, and sang it so amazingly! Bruddah played at my mother's memorial service the other day and he was absolutely superb. Besides arriving an hour before the start, he was willing to make some additions to songs to play the night before. But most importantly, the playing was superb, clear, and with his amplifier equipment was highly professional. His playing and singing of the Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World medley along with others such as Beautiful Kauai, Aloha 'Oe and other traditional Hawaiian songs was top notch. I cannot recommend anyone more highly as Bruddah to play at an event!

I contacted Bruddah Vince just a few days before our retirement party at a large estate in Beverly Hills, when another performer I had originally hired dropped out at the last minute. What could have been a disaster turned out to be a blessing, as Bruddah Vince was extremely easy, professional, and pleasant to work with, and he provided the perfect vibes we were seeking. His dreamy voice, expert ukulele playing, and great song selection added so much beauty to our night. We all felt transported to the islands for a few hours, and the party would not have been the same without him. He was very agreeable to every request, including taking a Covid test upon arrival, which we really appreciated since some of our guests are high risk.

What to Expect
You can expect to see and hear me sing and play my acoustic guitar and/or ukulele. My specialty includes Island music (contemporary & popular hits from Hawaii) and Hawaiian (language) music. I'd introduce myself to your audience, encourage requests and customize your event by making any necessary announcements and other relevant information in order to promote guest delight. For cozy settings, I can sing and play unplugged. For a room setting, I can plug into my guitar amp. For larger gatherings up to 100 people, I can provide a P.A. system. My goal is to have you sit back, relax and forget about your worries while the music soothes your soul!
About
Originally from O'ahu, Hawaii (Born in Waikiki), I've been living in Southern California for over 20 years and have been playing music for over 30 years. I've previously played in a band and love the Solo performer experience. Playing Island music & Hawaiian music on my guitar & ukulele takes me back to the Islands with every performance. People have shared with me that "I bring the Islands to them". I feel that performing music is my calling and would love to make your event a memorable one.

Vince will need shade or an umbrella if it's an outdoor performance and a power outlet within 100ft. He provides his own extension cords and amplification.
