Imber Solis

Imber Solis brought a phenomenal energy that elevated the whole event. Music was extraordinary. Every member was very professional. Set-up and clean-up was smooth and unobtrusive. I genuinely recommend Imber Solis for any event!

Not your typical band, they write their own music and perform it very, very well. Tends to have a "jazz" and sometimes bluesy feel to it. They do a few cover songs, but they are very selective on which songs to choose. If they are performing a cover, there's no attempt to mimic the original song writer or group, rather, they always give it their own special feeling. The result is always pleasing. I threw a zinger at them during the show and asked for something totally off the wall "Favorite Things" from Sound of Music. They started in kinda "square", but after a couple of verses, headed down a jazzy path I never expected... Turns out the famous saxophonist had also performed this song in HIS own style.. This band was very aware of it and took off in their own direction with shades of Coltrane thrown in... it was a very pleasing evening!

Imber Solis brought an easy going party vibe to our Mardi Gras event. The music drew people in and set an upbeat tone that shaped the mood of the participants. The beats required us to move and the lyrics brought smiles to the faces of young and old alike. These talented musicians clearly contributed to our uplifting community building efforts. It was a joy to have this group be a part of our first public event. We will definitely book them again and will tell our friends about them. Karen and Mark

Imber performed at our condo community holiday party and was a huge hit with everyone. What a talent! She sang jazz classics during the cocktail hour and Christmas music during dinner. Several neighbors said they would hire her for their events. We will definitely use her again.
