Impulsive Strings was a lovely addition to our event. They were punctual and professional and the music was exactly what we requested!

Impulse Strings was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. The music they provided during the ceremony and reception was perfect to set the tone for an overall unforgettable day. Super professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They even learned two new songs for us which was really special. We loved their large music catalog which was filled with so many fun songs, both classical and modern. Definitely recommend this awesome group!!

Alexandria was extraordinary. Not only was she able to accommodate our special request for violin (The Beatles, “With a Little Help From My Friends”) but she also offered an entire catalog of pop, rock, and classical songs for us to choose from. Easily one of the best and most fun aspects of planning our wedding was just deciding what songs we wanted to hear Alexandria play. And play them she did. She carried our entire ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding, setting the mood, and putting everyone at ease in a light, relaxed mood. At every turn, she was kind, generous, easy to work with, and made the process as seamless as it could possibly be. We would absolutely work with Alexandria again, no question!

Alexandria and Eva performed at our wedding and I would 100% hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking to have music at any event. Alexandria was incredibly easy to work with. She was very responsive to all our emails and had great suggestions. We wound up booking the electra duo which was perfect for our small wedding in a residential area and allowed us to pick some more upbeat tunes with the backtracks. Everyone loved it!

I had my wedding on a beautiful lakeside estate, and Impulse Strings played during the ceremony and cocktail hour. While we had a rain plan, we didn’t have a wind plan. They persisted outside through the entire two hours, we had guests just sit and watch them tear it up instead of talk to one another!! We had them do classic (for ceremony) and covers (cocktail hour), and they were very detail oriented in the planning process. They are stuck with us- we hope to use them in the future any chance we get.

We hired Impluse's string duo for our engagement party - they were on time, professional, and the music was absolutely beautiful!

Allie the violinist was performing solo at our private elopement ceremony which took place on March 18th, 2023. I’ll be forever grateful for her professionalism, punctuality, hard work, and very pleasant personality. She inquired about our preferred songs and was super easy to work with.

We hired Impulse Strings for our grand opening event in FiDi, NYC. From the first conversation with Allie, everything went so smooth, we received all the answers we needed quickly, we modified the contract as needed and secured the event with a deposit, we were mailing a check to NY and it took some days, but Allie let us keep the date needed.
The event was AMAZING! Even though the weather was cold (03/04), Allie and the other musician were playing outside, all they asked for us to provide was a chair. The music was so beautiful so many people stopped and listened and came inside the store. the music 100% made our opening so much more successful! Thank you Allie and the team, we will definitely hire you again :)

Impulse Strings played at my Central Park wedding ceremony at Cop Cot and they were amazing!!! The communication from the start to the day of was great and they played several songs at our request and played them at the specific times we wanted. Engaged Impulse Strings appprox 2 months before the event - a performance at a wedding - providing pre-ceremony classical music, music for the wedding ceremony, and cocktail hour popular music.
Met with Impulse Strings lead (Alexandria) several times after contracting the group to discuss musical pieces requested, and general flow of the engagement.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Impulse Strings.
Not only did they incorporate several new pieces to their set list as requested by the couple for the wedding ceremony, they offered suggestions as to flow of music for the cocktail hour.

Their classical set list encompassed all the traditional favorites, and their popular music set list was very up to date.
They were so very accomodating, pleasant and highly professional in their appearance and performance.
Also they were totally in tune with the vibe of the wedding.

My dad recently turned 75 and due to the pandemic, my family had to get creative with ideas on how to properly celebrate such a milestone birthday. Impulse Strings was a delight to work with. They emailed us their list of music and we were able to pick out songs we wanted to be performed for the hour. The ladies arrived on time and set up in the living room. They were dressed nicely, were very professional and were extremely pleasant individuals. They know an extensive amount of songs ranging from the classical to pop/rock hits. Everyone from my 75 year old dad to my 4 year old niece had a very nice time watching the performance... entertaining for all ages! I would highly recommend Impulse Strings.

Alexandria added such a wonderful element to our wedding. She has a wide set list of both contemporary and classical selections that made our wedding both elegant and fun. She was easy to work with and just a generally nice person (which is important, albeit underrated, when planning an event!). Highly recommend!

Alexandria truly made our wedding ceremony so magical. She learned multiple new songs for us with back tracking and really went above and beyond for us. Her playing was gorgeous and we received multiple complements on the music. Due to COVID-19 we needed to change our wedding plans dramatically and decided to last minuet add a violinist to out ceremony, and are so o happy we did! The violinist, Adam was professional, communicative and personable. He played the violin well and each song selected was beautifully played. He even, when asked, shared one of his favorite songs at the end.

Although as bride and groom we didn’t have the opportunity to meet her, we heard her playing beautifully for our outdoor wedding ceremony. We had unforeseen delays; and so our planned order of songs were different. Alexandria was present and still played for our guests, and after we arrived then our procession and recession. We definitely recommend her; she was responsive and professional during all interactions. She has a warm personality and we hope to book her again if needed or see her again in future performances!

It was great working with Alexandria! Very easy to communicate & always willing to help. We hired Brendan, the guitarist, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He played a requested song which he learned and perfected in a short matter of time. Frankly, he was better than most of the guitarists on YouTube. Highly recommend.
