Shows include dance from around the world, aerial performance, video projection installations, martial arts, fire arts, audience participation, hip hop, rock or world music. Formed in March 2011, The Kandake Dance Theatre for Social Change is an extremely diverse collective that combines social activism and community engagement with folkloric, theatrical and experimental movement. Travel outside of NYC is OK as long as travel costs are covered by the client prior to the show date.
