+The art of communication
+How to win People
Wain was fabulous. I was apprehensive about booking him because I have individuals that are extremely sensitive to religious topics. He has an amazing way of putting everyone at ease immediately! One of the individuals I mentioned above said after the event, "I could have listened to him another two hours". I truly believe that Wain has found his purpose. He is funny, inspiring, uplifting, and just plain awesome! Looking forward to seeing him again!
Wain has a rare ability to take the topics of personal growth and make them everyman's question and everyman's quest. He captures an audience with his charm and intelligent approach, but teaches them with his enthusiastic delivery, his ability to mix up the rhetoric into a playful mindspin that lets his audience walk with him through the trials and tribulations of life, knowing they have an expert guide. Speakers who know how to reach the heart, mind and spirit are rare and Wain is just that kind of speaker. He spoke to our group of more than 150 comprised of teenagers, their parents, and people with great experience. Everyone loved the hour with Wain.
What a fantastic message! Wain Myers not only gave us a glimpse into his personal history, he inspired us to look into ourselves and be our best. With a little singing, a little dancing, some role-play, and a LOT of Love, Wain showed us that if we focus on what really matters in life and strive to reach our full potential nothing can stop us. Looking forward to booking Wain for a corporate event to bring his humor and inspiration to our business team.
From when he stood until he sat down (and even afterwards), Brother Myers thoroughly engaged our stake youth fireside audience. He brought the Spirit quickly, speaking with honesty and power, and plenty of humor. Brother Myers tells how he felt called to preach at a very young age, and he uses this gift to inspire and encourage others. A charismatic orator, Myers excels in hooking the audience, knowing when to repeat or slow the message, and definitely how to raise the roof with truth. His conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (against significant challenges and odds) impacted our group in a way that I know we'll be talking about him for a very long time. Myers' message and spirit resonate with youth and adults alike, and his testimony of redemption and personal revelation will have your group wanting to stand and shout, "Amen!"
Mr. Myers was a wonderful speaker. He spoke to the BYU Law School community on the subject of Blacks and the Priesthood and was very informative. His topic addressed the LDS Church’s present organization/structure that encourages racial integration, its modern reality of inclusion for much of its history, but also how the Church did not ordain men of black African descent to its priesthood or allow black men or women to participate in temple endowment or sealing ordinances.
He is energetic, entertaining, and kind. It was a pleasure to hear him speak.
He spoke at our law school. It was unconventional and what the students needed on the topic. Maybe less words on the slides and don't read from them but over all great.
We had Wain Myers come speak to our relief society group for an enrichment activity about daily devotion and did a fantastic job. Very engaging and professional. He talked about over coming our fears and had all the sisters participate. We would definitely recommend him!
We were delighted to have Wain Myers speak to our Youth in West Jordan Utah. Approximately 60 young men and young women ages 12-18 and adult advisors gathered around to listen to the hilarious and thought provoking stories of Wain Myers.
Wain is a "Tell it like it is" kind of man, which is something our youth desperately want and need. They want to know they are important and loved, yet want the truth about life and where they are headed. Wain doesn't hold back. He was bold and honest yet tender and sincere.
As a youth advisor, I find it important to bring in speakers that can connect with our youth on multiple levels.
I look for speakers who can be funny, serious, inspiring and motivational. Wain Myers is ALL those things and so much more. Wain engaged my youth, he made them laugh, he made them think about their lives and he reminded them to enjoy life. He even did the 'Whip' and 'Nae Nae' dance with the youth at the end of his talk.
What I like most about Wain is when the microphone was turned he was there to talk and work with youth leaders and take in the general culture of the group. Most importantly he genuinely cares for the youth and has their future and issues they may be facing in mind when he speaks.
Wain isn’t just a speaker for hire, he wants to interact everyone. He is a guy you may have to kick out of the building at the end of the day, because he spends so much time listening and answering questions. Everyone adored Wain so much, we are thinking of ways to bring him back in the future, so he has the opportunity to touch even more lives.
Thank you for your message, your personality, your wit, your testimony.
Not only does this man move you emotionally heart and soul. His own life experiences shows that he speaks from a place of experience. Wain is a gifted speaker that helps you feel your true worth. Realizing my own potential has brought so much clarity to my life. Wain is engaging, entertaining, and real to the core. I would recommend Mr. Myers for just about any setting. If you want positivity, change, or increase in personal production than Wain Myers will help bring all of that to the surface!
