Every ceremony is unique. Some couples know exactly what they want and some have no idea where to begin. I can help you either way. Here are the questions I am always going to ask you to get started, just to get the technical aspects down:

1) Do you want a secular or religious ceremony? If religious, what religion(s)?
2) Do you have particular songs/ readings/ poems you know you want to incorporate?
3) Do you have family or friends that you want to read/ sing any of these selections?
4) Do you have a venue selected or already in mind?
5) Are there traditions or ceremony pieces you want to incorporate?
6) Are either members of the couple planning to be "given away" by a "father figure"?
7) Do you want to be introduced as a couple by a new name at the end of the ceremony?
8) I am trained to provide pre-marital counseling for an extra fee. Would you like that service? It's a wonderful assessment called Prepare & Enrich and will give you a baseline with which you can check in with each other as your marriage blossoms.

If we're still struggling to discover your perfect ceremony at this point, we can talk through some things and find the pieces of what makes you both smile. This can be as simple or as complex as you like - I am incredibly flexible! I am a writer in addition to a minister and performer, I am not afraid to help you arrange your thoughts into the words you want to express.

I am an interfaith religions scholar with a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology. I'm well-versed in the texts, cultures, rituals, and histories of many faith traditions. I've studied over 15 languages and specialize in a ministry of inter-religious dialogue and was the first Iliff student to have earned the Iliff Certificate in Comparative Religious Studies.

As an interfaith wedding officiant, I have the benefit of several traditions from which I can pull to help create a unique ceremony to suit your needs. Religious, spiritual, secular, and even "geek" weddings all fall within my range of celebration.

Whether you're planning a fairy tale wedding, an adventure to outer space, or comic book pages, I can help you create a ceremony that fits your dream theme! I specialize in what the kids are calling "geek weddings" and have appeared myself as a model at the Phoenix Comic Convention 2015 Geek Wedding Fashion Show! Yes, I am willing to wear costumes, though I reserve the right to refuse certain requests.

Do you need a vocalist for weddings, funerals, services, and more. I am trained in many vocal styles and have a long list of songs that can be ready at a quick request. With a litle extra time to practice, I am happy to learn new songs that perfectly fit your needs. ​Looking for an officiant to perform vocally as well as officiate the service? I can do that too!!

I am honored to perform wedding services for any legally consenting adults. I do not discriminate based on sexuality, gender, ethnicity, race, or anything else.

Not much is required for my services. I have officiated weddings on mountain tops and in the middle of parks. I've witnessed vows shared in a quiet library and in a crowded restaurant. This is your day and you get to decide what it looks like. I just need to know where to be and when to arrive. We can discuss beforehand what you want me to say: I can do most or very little of the speaking. The least you have to say is "I do!"

Also, you will want to make certain you have picked up your marriage certificate. I'm supposed to sign that for you. :)
