Usagi is not a name you hear often in the burlesque community. A name so uncommon can only mean an act even more uncommon.

A new comer to burlesque, having first debuted an act in October 2015 ,but not in the least bit shy.

Usagi comes from a dance background that ranges from contemporary, to hip-hop, to cultural, to belly and more. And she tries to incorporate a bit of it all in her acts.

“I see raw talent! I see hunger!” Says GiGi Holliday of Studio Holliday, who has taken Usagi under her rhinestone covered wings and dubbed herself her burlesque mother.

You never know what to expect from the self dubbed, “Bunny of Burlesque”. But just know you will be thoroughly entertained.
