Hello, we’re Irish Whispa. We’re pretty new to Gigsalad, but have been playing festivals, pubs, parties and corporate events since 2011. We play dozens of the Irish favorites along with popular folk and popular country hit songs too.
We are a four piece band but for larger events we at times add drums and other instruments. We have a full professional PA/Sound system that can also be shared with the MC or play background/dance music during breaks.

Irish Whispa strives to provide the most bang for your buck. We set up quickly and get the show on the road. We love to take requests and play dozens of the Irish favorites that we all have come to love. If your event has an MC, or planning on offering a presentation, or raffles, you can always use our microphones to address your guests. We also have the ability to play music from any iphone, or tablet if you wish to add some other type music for a portion of the event. This is popular with step-dancers, and for those who also want to change up the genre for a few songs for dancing.

Irish Whispa had been together for 12 years. We've played in and around New England at many pubs, festivals and private events. Brien, Kevin and Rob hail from the Boston area where they embraced music at a young age. Michael is from Kenmare Ireland and has been playing the box since he was a wee lad.
Irish Whispa provides their own sound equipment. We have top of the line QSC powered main speakers, and monitors. This system is powerful enough for large indoor and outdoor venues but also very good in smaller type settings too..

Irish Whispa the band is strongly influenced by many the Irish greats. Some of our favorites are the Wolfetones, Dubliners, Clancy Brothers, Christy Moore. We are also like to add some American favorites such as Johnny Cash and some Country Roads..
All we need is 120 power, and a 10x10 area.
