At ISDesigns, we value quality and customer service more than anything.
We honor punctuality, quality of service and professional approach and appearance when working with you and your guests.

We encourage an initial phone call to discuss the scope of the project. Here is where we can discuss the details to make sure we know what video/photo coverage you desire, and that you understand what our service will include.
No worries if not all the details are in place yet. We follow up with an additional phone call well ahead of the date of the event/shoot, in case there are any updates or changes.

We always arrive early to ensure enough time for proper setups. We're courteous and friendly folk and treat event hosts and guests with respect.

If editing work is required, we do so transparently, so that you'll have a chance to see the piece as it comes together in up to three stages: The rough cut, the intermediate cut and the final cut.
During each stage we encourage feedback and suggestions to make sure we meet your expectations.

ISDesigns was born out of passion for visual stories.
Prior to launching his current profession, german born media creator Ilja Sarro was recognized in the local independent filmmaking community while being involved in many productions, often doing camera work.
He was also active as a sculptor, working in clay and bronze, and was often seen with sketch books full of ideas, illustrations and doodles.

His career in bronze sculpture and fine art brought Ilja to California. In Berkeley, he trained to become a professional digital filmmaker and multimedia artist.
Influenced by his admiration for 'Noire' filmmaking of the 1940s and the early works of French filmmaker Michel Gondry, he since earned credit as camera operator for short films and features, and was part of an award winning team as cinematographer on a locally produced documentary short film. He also earned credit on the Academy Award nominated documentary "Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers."

With growing portfolio and equipment list, Ilja was able to pursue his dream in combining personal storytelling with professional outreach to the public. Noticing the up-shift in the video trend for local businesses, Ilja opened the doors to ISDesigns in 2006.

Today, ISDesigns Studio has evolved to serve a world-wide clientele. Our brand means quality to customers in Europe, India, China and across the continental U.S. From corporate levels to small businesses and start-ups, and even individuals 'like you and me.'

We use a variety of HD, 4K and DSLR video equipment with wireless Sennheiser lavaliere microphones and professional lighting kits as needed. We also feature 360 degree coverage, which puts you right in the middle of your event. See sample in portfolio.

Note: If the location is poorly lit we might have to bring in our own lighting kits. We should discuss the location and consider time of day to ensure there is enough light for video coverage.
If your event includes a sound system we would very much like to tap into the sound board for clarity of audio during the event. We should discuss the details.
