Guy is a multi-talented musician who performs as a steel drum player. A Berklee College of Music Alumni, his solo act includes soulful jazz saxophone and vocals of popular island cover tunes from entertainers such as Jimmy Buffett and Zak Brown. Not to leave anyone out, there's also a good selection of R&B and country included- the perfect mix for Tiki Bars and Private Pool Parties. Additionally, along with his talented wife, Sharrie, Guy can provide beautifully blended sounds of hammered dulcimer, ukulele and guitar, ideal for weddings and corporate parties. Whatever your needs, you can count on Guy to provide a professional musical experience for your club, event, or facility.
Guy was outstanding! His Steel Drum music was the perfect musical background to our unique event. Our guests enjoyed, and most importantly, our homeowner was so happy! Live island music by the poolside for our party was great and certainly kicked the good times up a notch. All our guests enjoyed the Caribbean atmosphere created by Island Guy. Looking for an excuse to throw another soiree to bring back Guy.
We hired Guy for an office Christmas party to play carols as well as other island type music. He did a great job and helped make the event a huge success.
He arrived more than an hour early and setup near the elevator. I was afraid with the microphone he may be too loud, but the sound was perfect – mellow and smooth from the building lobby throughout the office. Arriving guests (and even building tenants) were greeted by a melodious, joyous entrance to our party that continued all evening.
The fee was very reasonable and booking was easy. I would hire him again and recommend 100%.
