When you book Island Soul Productions you will get a solo steel pan player who will provide you with a wide range of songs and styles. You will get a solo musician who will play the melody to a backing track, with most of the backing tracks made by Island Soul Productions. There usually is a set order in witch the songs are played but if asked to play certain songs, the set list will be adjusted.

My name is Chris Garner and I am a local steel pan play in (link hidden)tersburg Florida. I have been playing for about four or five years now have experience playing at various locations as a solo steel pan act such as The Old Key West Bar & Grill, Inspiered Living, (link hidden)te Art Works, birthdays, the Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy, Sarasota, FL , the Largo Public Libray and more. When choosing to hire me as a solo act, you can be insured to have fun time hearing not only the sound of the islands, but a variety of styles all played on the steel pan. I provide every thing needed to preform, from the sound system to the music. Yes, I play to backing tracks, but I makke most of my own, and they sound so good, you'd think I was playing with a real band.

The I way preform is based on the event size. If I play for a small event, say a birthday party or a small event with less than 50 people, I use a portable speak, my iPhone for backing tracks and sheet music. If I play for a larger event, I will use my PA system, my iPhone for backing tracks sheet music, and my mixer if needed. The only thing I require from the venue is an source to plug in speakers, a chair and a small table, other than that my performances are very laid back.
