We hired Patrick to play during our Purple Heart of the Bay Charity Fishing Tournament and, wow, am I happy we did! The music was perfect and Patrick was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He showed up early and timed everything very well. He even let us use his sound equipment when our mic and speakers broke down--truly a life saver. I recommend him for any function, but his music was especially enjoyable at our outdoor event. His solo performance sounded like an entire band, even with all the background noise--but he never overpowered the event and it was easy to chat with our participants over the music. Thanks, Patrick!

We are a small condo association and Patrick performed for our last party of the winter season held on our pool deck. The music was wonderful, both instrumental and vocal. He allowed plenty of time to get set up and was kind enough to play for an extra half hour. Very professional, great variety of music, and excellent interpersonal skills. Came early to set up, played throughout event. So many guests commented on how beautiful the music was. We were five star happy. In addition he was very accommodating to provide microphone for our guest speaker.

Patrick did a great job and we would have him again for any event. It was unusual to him as it was on a tour boat so not optimal conditions, but he played the whole time and did a great job.
After an Internet search, we hired Patrick from Island Sounds to entertain at a pool party at our community. We had over a hundred guests at this special event. Patrick's Island Sounds were perfect. He played the steel drums, the guitar, and the uke, plus his wonderful vocals added much to the evening.
Patrick showed up early and was set up and ready to play before the event even started and had music playing after the event as he broke down his equipment. Patrick was professional and charming. Our event was a week ago and we are still getting compliments on the entertainment at our event.

We had a surprise Birthday party and could not have found a more perfect entertainer for our event. Between the singing and the instrument talent our guests would not leave so we had requested him to stay and extra hour or so! He is highly versed and accomplished as a steel drummer, guitarist, ukulele player, and as a vocalist. He plays as a soloist, or as part of a duo, or band. He also plays Hawaiian music to offer you the best of all island music. As a member of the bands, The Geckos and Bermuda Blue, he has performed for fifteen years as the "house band" at the famous Ram's Head in Annapolis, MD where many of the world's premiere artists have played. Since the early 90's the bands have been booked for several hundred events both public and private. His unique style is that "original sound" straight out of the islands. His major influences include Harry Belafonte, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley, The Merrymen, Sparrow, and others. He has played for hundreds of couples on their wedding day. Patrick and his band are the first steel drummers to introduce the incredible tongue steel drum for weddings. This amazing instrument, made by his musical band member, Kevin Martin, who owns Rockcreek Steel Drums, a steel drum manufacturer, captures the sounds of the wedding bells from the cathedrals of Medieval Times and brings them to the wedding. He has also played for dozens of private parties, corporate functions, and dinners. He will also arrange for duos and full band shows.
