It's been two weeks and my attendees at my Birthday Barbecue for my husband is still RAVING about the extraordinary surprise performance JACINDA orchestrated at the event!! I had the absolute pleasure of hiring Jacinda (Aliya Dalal) for my wedding, and she exceeded all my expectations!!! Words cannot express how thrilled I was with her breathtaking performance. I also enjoyed the authentic Arabic music. As an Arab myself, she really impressed me by knowing all the words!!

I hired Jacinda to perform belly dancing at my brother's 40th birthday. She was very communicative prior to the event and very accommodating. At the event she was very punctual. Thank you for your feedback. I always aim to provide the best dance performance and lesson service I can for my clients and their events. The show that I performed was custom made based directly on your request for Hawaiian entertainment and the discussion we had in planning the show. It can be challenging to perfectly describe and quantify all elements of an artistic performance, and therefore there is always the possibility of misunderstandings. For example, the tempo of Hawaiian Hula songs do tend to be a bit slower. My goal in creating my performance for your event was to make the show dynamic, which is why I also included faster paced songs to provide a dynamic feeling to the show. I apologize that this performance did not appear as you had envisioned it to be.
Overall, it seemed that your guests greatly enjoyed the performance and the lesson, as they were smiling and laughing throughout the show duration.
However, I can certainly understand the disappointment of a show not turning out as you had hoped. Let’s have a phone call to talk more about this. Please send me a private message to set up a time.
With regard to your comment about food, I’m not sure I understand this as I do not serve or provide food at events.
Jacinda was wonderful and the special young adults really enjoyed the program and especially getting a hula lesson. I would recommend Jacinda for your next event. You will be very happy you did!

We hired Jacinda to do a belly-dance performance at our Indian wedding reception. What to Expect
Jacinda is very friendly, professional, and easy to work with! She can work with you closely to tailor the performance or instruction to your special event!
Performances are typically 20-25 minutes in duration per set and the duration can be adjusted to fit your needs.
Each set consists of an exciting entrance song, popular classical and modern Middle Eastern songs, lively audience interaction, fun drum solo, and a grand finale. Shows often incorporate one or more props including veil, Isis Wings, cane, sword, and finger cymbals. If two or more sets are requested, a costume change can be included.
Jacinda can also provide performance-plus-instruction packages that consists of a brief performance followed by a group lesson. This option is perfect for bridal parties, sweet 16s, ladies’ gathering, and cultural events!
Jacinda uses high-quality, traditional belly dance costumes. More conservative costume options are also available. Jacinda will work with you closely to customize a show to exactly fit your needs!
Jacinda will provide her own music, dance with your live band, or coordinate with your DJ. Jacinda can entertain as a soloist or can coordinate multiple dancers or musicians upon your request!
About
Jacinda is a professional belly dance performer and instructor who is performing and teaching in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as well as Central Pennsylvania region. Known for her gracefulness, expressiveness, and professionalism, Jacinda brings joy and passion to every event. Jacinda has performed in many local establishments and restaurants, showcases, and many festivals and celebrations throughout the East Coast of the United States. She has also taught dance workshops for women of wide ranges of ages and cultural backgrounds at a variety of settings, including yoga studio, healing centers, and community centers.
Jacinda began her study of Middle Eastern music and dance in 2008 in Philadelphia and constantly strives to deepen her knowledge of and connection to this beautiful, expressive art form and the cultures from which they derive. She trains extensively in classical Egyptian-style belly dance and Folklore, and travels to Egypt to deepen her studies of the dance, culture, and history. Jacinda also enjoys and trains in other belly dance styles including American Cabaret (Vintage Oriental), Turkish, Lebanese, Persian, and American Tribal Style. She continuously strives to improve her art through workshops and intensive training in Middle Eastern dance and music as well as the history and culture of the art form with world-renowned master teachers.
With her deep love of and extensive training in Middle Eastern music and dance, Jacinda will certainly provide an elegant, exciting, and authentic belly dance performance that will impress your guests!
