Jack performs fingerstyle guitar, sings, and plays harmonica. Fingerstyle is a highly technical and percussive style of guitar playing. His repertoire includes original compositions and covers of Irish, rock, pop, and jazz tunes, as well as renditions of songs written by fingerstyle masters Tommy Emmanuel, Andy Mckee, Don Ross, and Stephen Bennett. Jack loves to share this style of playing with his listeners and other musicians.

We booked Jack for our wedding of about 35 people at a vineyard. We could have not made a better choice! He was absolutely amazing, his guitar skills, his singing, his professionalism, and just hearing him play was honestly beautiful. Jack communicated with us from the beginning to the end and it was very much appreciated since planning a wedding can be stressful. Guarantee you he will help take the stress away from at least one aspect of your event. He was also very understanding and helpful when it came to timing and arriving early to set up. We hosted a house party for 100 this past weekend. Of course, it rained and everyone had to move inside- including Jack. He was super flexible. When the rain stopped, Jack started to play- he was an absolute hit with our guests- not exaggerating, 50 people came to me and commented that he was fantastic. We will definitely have him back.
Wow, wow, wow! First of all Jack was extremely responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with!! He completely blew me, my husband, and our guests away! He had our guests singing, vibing and clapping the entire time. His voice, his acoustics and instrumentals were just WOW, I have no other words!! My husband and I were blessed to have Jack for our wedding anniversary reception on August 27, 2022. We wanted a singing guitarist who plays a variety of music and could appeal to the wide music taste of our 200 guests. I wasn’t sure if I was able to afford a musician, so I booked him fairly last minute. Thank God he was available! Don’t do what I did and book him ASAP. Jack was the perfect person for us! He asked for any song requests I had. I thought that was so thoughtful of him and provided him with a list, thinking that he’d be only able to do a few considering the timeframe. However, he did all of my requests. He even learned my parents’ wedding song and our wedding song! You should have seen how happy my parents and husband were! A great surprise! He was punctual and very sweet and personable with everyone! If you are looking for someone for your special event, please don’t look any further. Jack is so amazingly talented and personable!! I play a wide variety of genres of music: pop, country, soul, and blues. I can play instrumentally with no singing for pleasant and lively background music, and also take requests to sing your favorite songs.
I love playing and teaching guitar. I've spent countless hours practicing to reach a greater ability, knowledge, and connection to the music that I love. I've been playing now for over 20 years.
My musical journey started in middle school when I got my first guitar. I played in worship, rock, and pop bands during high school and college. I earned two bachelor's degrees in philosophy and psychology from New Mexico State University, and a master's degree in philosophy from Brandeis University. While getting my degrees I completed coursework at Berklee College of Music, which helped me solidify my understanding of music theory. After graduation I became a full-time guitar instructor and performer, teaching students of all ages in my hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and playing gigs there and in Albuquerque, NM and El Paso, Texas.
