I'm a simple musician trying to spread the love of God one song at a time. I can perform my own act, or fill in where needed. I can play any standard band instrument except keyboard (drums, acoustic, rhythm or lead electric, bass, sing, harmony) as well as trumpet.

Expect to find a man absolutely passionate and dedicated to his work, music, and the job. Whether he is filling in as a musician in a performance or a studio, performing his own music or covers, helping run sound, or leading worship, Jacob is a passionate young man, determined to give every job he's given 110% of his time, priority, motivation, and effort.
Jacob Daniel Poettker graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas in May 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science in Contemporary Christian Music (a music degree with emphasis on songwriting, production, and performance) and and a minor in Worship Arts.
Being a writer at heart, Jacob found his passion in music, in his high school years, for its ability to tell an entire story without saying a single word. However, Jacob has always been writing, even since he was ten years old. He even published his own science fiction book, as well as several poems and short stories.
When he picked up songwriting, Jacob attended numerous songwriting seminars, including Write About Jesus and Camp Electric.
In his songwriting, Jacob’s style has been heavily influenced by his favorite genres: jazz, hip-hop, indie rock, and worship, each style being easily portrayed, and blended, in almost every song he writes. In Everything he does, Jacob hopes to continue to keep sharing the love of Christ, one song at a time.
Pretty versatile: Able to play straight acoustic to small concert via 4 channel acoustic floor amp. I do NOT have a P/A system and would require that for any even with more than 100 people. I can supply my own mics, stands, and cables for myself and one other.
