You will see a musician who offers both audio and visual aesthetics. I dress to impress, just as much as I perform to impress. My empathy, understanding, and kindness can be heard in the music I play, as well as my style of performance. Sometimes music speaks louder than words, and that is what you will get.

I paint pictures with the songs I play. I allow the audience and client to be transported into another realm.

Jacqueline Belle Kurniawan was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She began learning to play the piano at the age of 5, being taught by her grandaunt. Her early influences include her grandma, grandaunts, church pianists, and Classical composers such as Mozart and Beethoven.

Jacqueline has been playing the piano for 20+ years. After learning piano from her grandaunt, she studied under Mrs. Yanti. Once she moved to the U.S. in 2008, she continued to take private lessons under Dr. Jung-A Lee and took advanced piano lessons at Irvine Valley College with Dr. Boettger. Currently, she teaches herself new music and diligently sharpens her skills.

Though classically-trained, Jacqueline did not limit herself to Classical music. Interested in other musical genres, after mastering piano performance and sight-reading, Jacqueline self-taught herself contemporary pieces ranging from pop, rock, and film.

Teaching piano has been her main forte, for which she has been teaching students of varying ages since January 2010. She also provides background instrumental music for various events, whether at church, schools, bars, restaurants, weddings, parties, receptions, and more.

Music is her life. Music is her heart and soul. Music is her therapy.
For this, Jacqueline wishes to share her love of music, particularly piano music, with those around her.

Besides a piano or electrical/digital piano/keyboard, all of which need to be in tune, good working condition with functioning pedals, it would also be crucial to have good lighting if the event was performed at night or in a dimly-lit venue.
