James Marvell has had hits in three fields of music. In the 60s' he was part of the Warner Brothers' Pop Sensation Mercy. Their million selling classic "Love Can Make You Happy" captured the essence of the Peace and Love generation topping Billboard
and Cashbox second only to The Beatles' "Get Back." Mercy joined other greats in that Top 10 such as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra!
In the early 70s' Marvell formed the anti-drug country outlaw duo known as The Country Cavaleers. He toured with many of The Grand Ole Opry Stars and country music legends from Conway and Loretta to Mel Tillis. The Cavaleers were on MGM Records.
The new millenium has blessed Marvell with a string of Christian Country hits, many of which he's written.
Today, his wife Faye helps him recreate the classics he recorded in the 60s' with Mercy such as "Love Is Blue", "Obladi", "Forever", "Love Can Make You Happy" and many other hits of that era. Adding to the excitement of this show, are special recorded introductions by several of James Marvell's legendary music friends. This act also uses premium backing tracks
