James Young, Frank Sinatra Impersonator, former Police Detective. Young has the unique sounds of both a young Sinatra at times and the more mature Frank, the other. It’s like following Sinatra’s entire career in one show. In 2016, James won the award for Best Classic Crooner at The Reel Awards in Las Vegas!! The Reel Award is the highest award for a professional celebrity impersonator.
Young makes you believe the Chairman of Board is alive and on that stage! He has captured The Chairman of the Board's voice, style, and mannerisms. Either with a Rat Pack Tribute, or stand alone, this Sinatra act is one of the finest anywhere in the world!
Mr Young arrived early and set up promptly. He was courteous and professional. A true gentleman. I hope to boom him again soon!
Not only did he sound great but he was super flexible. We set up for the party outside and it started raining, so we moved everyone into the garage to hear his performance. Highly recommend!
Response from James Young:
Thank you Amalie! It was a pleasure to perform at your party! I appreciate the very kind review!
When Oak Crest retirement community in Baltimore decided to host a tribute party for Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday, we researched artists around the mid-Atlantic and had to get it right. As is turned out, we made a terrific decision in hiring James Young.
Over 280 residents attended the event, and the feedback has been very positive. James not only performed three sets of Sinatra's standards, but he also interacted with the audience throughout the evening. He made them laugh and recall their fond memories of Sinatra.
James was very easy to work with; he arrived in plenty of time for the event set-up and communicated well with our employees. He is a true professional, and I'd recommend him to any business or group that wants to have a first-class event! As one resident emailed me, "this was a special evening for Oak Crest."
Response from James Young:
Thank you SO much for the very kind review Jeff!! It was a pleasure to work with you and your staff. And the people at Oak Crest (residents) were all so warm and friendly. It is very rewarding to perform Sinatra to his original fans!! :o)
Proud to take the stage with this consummate professional, James Young, as "Frank Sinatra"!!! The client was most pleased, as the following review states:
"We had a wonderful evening with Eric Richardson as Dean Martin and James Young as Frank Sinatra. They provided entertainment for the cocktail reception and dinner portion of our corporate holiday party. We would highly recommend both of them." - Kristi Pappas
James Young is a true professional and a class act! The ballroom at Allenberry Inn & Resort was a perfect setting as we decorated it with a 20's Supper Club theme in black & white. It was absolutely a first rate 90th Birthday celebration with 52 people in attendance. Singing for my Mother who saw Sinatra in his early days (1942) at the Paramount Theatre in NYC, James Young's Sinatra style was spot on-even down to the hat! His personality connected with the audience immediately. His stage set-up was fabulous with lights and excellent sound/speaker system. James captured the "Sinatra" mood with his renditions of many of Old Blue Eye's best songs. We were even more impressed with his enthusiasm as continued singing nearly to the end of the party. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his performance! OUTSTANDING!
James creates not only a very comprehensive representation of Frank Sinatra, but a most respectful image, as well. He will keep you extremely entertained. I have worked several "Summits" with him and he comes off completely "at ease" when hangin' onstage with his pallies, "Dean" and "Sammy". Don't hesitate to consider James Young for your next event!!!
We have "Frank" every month and LOVE him. Our customers get a real kick out of this guy-as do we!
Response from James Young:
THANK YOU SO MUCH PRUDHOMME'S!!!!! See ya next month!:o)
Jimmo was sensational as Frank Sinatra! He provided the perfect touch of CLASS to a special Birthday event for my Father-in-Law. The relatives from all over were really surprised and impressed at his appearance and sound. "You could close your eyes and swear it was Frank" said one Aunt. Another remarked "He didn't just sing the song, he is the character too" and yet another, "What a great idea having such entertainment at a party-it was just enough too." I'm looking forward to seeing Jimmo perform again soon.
I hired "Frank" as a surprise for my son and daughter in law for their wedding reception. From the first phone call to the last song was just perfect. Jimmy was just as excited as I was, and help plan the perfect time to appear! Everyone was thrilled, mostly the newlyweds. Highly recommend. Just simply perfect! Thank you for everything!

Beyond the best. James Young is the whole package; professional, entertaining and extremely talented. For our wedding, my husband and I wanted something different and unique. When we saw James perform at another event we knew we had to have him...during his first number, many of our guest thought we had a dj play a Frank Sinatra cd.... They were shocked and amazed that he was performing live! He was wonderful at interacting with our guest and made everyone want to be on the dance floor. The climax of the night was during his Ny Ny song where not one person was sitting...He really made our day/night special and memorable. It has been almost five years and my family STILL say how much they enjoyed him. I have also hired James for my art gallery events....I have been beyond impressed every time. I even keep his cards in my purse so I can let other people experience his musical talents!
We have seen this performer in person, seen You-Tube videos, etc......But , I will never get over the thrill, that this is my cousin!!! He is so good! Wherever he sings at is always a HIT!! His main place is Prudomme's in Columbia, PA.....something about
Cajun food?.....haven't been there yet, but He is there ALOT!!

Young has been staging Sinatra tribute shows since 2004. Like Elvis impersonators, Sinatra singers seem to be a dime-a-dozen. But Young has a way of making you almost believe that Sinatra is alive and singing right in front of you. He has captured the personality and style that made The Chairman of the Board what he was: The Best!
His repertoire includes the songs that many remember the most about "The Voice". New York, New York, My Way, That's Life, Summer Wind, Luck Be a Lady, Nice N' Easy, just to name very few.
He began his Sinatra tribute show in 2004, and has performed at The Walt Disney World Wyndham Resort in 2011 and 2012; The Fremont Street Experience and The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV in 2012 and 2013. In June 2013, this Sinatra Guy performed against 14 other singers in The Hoboken Sinatra Idol Competition in Hoboken, NJ, birthplace and hometown of Frank Sinatra. April 19, 2013, he appeared and performed on The Midnight Show with Vic Terno on New York's Time-Warner Television. Also on Madhouse TV with comedian Frank Prince, August 3, 2013.
His venues have included the Overland Park Convention Center, Kansas; another in Kansas City, MO; The Docks at Fells Point, Baltimore, MD, and several cities in Pennsylvania and Maryland. In December 2012, James performed at corporate events outside Washington, DC and Abilene, TX. He has been featured in newspaper and television stories across the United States.
In 2011, he teamed up with Eric Richardson, a Dean Martin tribute artist. The pair performed together in Kansas City, MO; Philadelphia, PA; also Baltimore and Bel Air, MD. The event in Kansas City included James, Eric, and Jim Petty and The Sinatra Nation Orchestra. In 2012, Steve Roman as Sammy Davis Jr. joined the pair and they performed at The Milburn Stone Theatre near Baltimore. July 2013, performed together again in Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY at Theater Three with an orchestra.
