The Alans

We hired The Alans for our Corporate Christmas Party. Our employees loved them. We had Jason walking around doing close up magic tricks while his wife, Stacy did what I can only refer to as mind blowing tricks. Our engineers (who think they are the smartest people in the room) hated that they couldn't figure out how Stacy was doing her tricks. Overall it was amazing entertainment. The only pitfall is I wish we had hired them to stay for a longer period of time!

The entire process of working with The Alans was top notch. Their professional approach to the entertainment business was refreshing. The booking process could not have been easier. Jason listened to what we were looking for, asked questioned, offered suggestions then walked us through how the evening would play out. The actual show stunned most of the crowd and entertained all. The Alans left a great impression and lasting memory for our summer event. After seeing a small bit of close-up magic locally with a small group of employees, I made sure to keep their contact information handy. When we were looking for a fun summer event for our over 120 employees at two of our divisions at Parker Hannifin, the Alans seemed like they would be a great fit. The committee watched the professional and personalized presentation that the Alans provided, and they were extremely impressed. They even went online to try to find even more videos of their performances.

Since we have customer service representatives who can't leave the phones for an extended period of time all at once, the Alans provided a customized experience for us. Their main show lasted nearly an hour and then they also continue with strolling entertainment afterwards for those that were not able to attend the main performance. It was great to be able to have our customer service department personnel get to feel included even if they couldn't attend the main show.

The interactive show engaged our employees and was a personalized experience for them. I heard nothing but rave reviews from our employees and how much they loved the magic, mentalism, and humor throughout the performance.

It is often difficult to create an event for a large group that isn't overwhelming for the party planners, but the Alans made it extremely easy for us with minimal effort on the planning side. They made the booking process simple and were flexible with our time frame. From their professional presentation and performance to their ability to interact with a very diverse audience, I would highly recommend them for any event. They were enthusiastic and customized the performance to our specific needs. Employees still come up to tell me how much fun the show was and that they still can't figure out how they did the tricks.

The Alans were fantastic at my children's birthday party. They were so professional and easy to get in touch with despite contacting them just a few days before the event. They came early to set up and were clear about the way their program would run. The magic show portion had the children in stitches as well as the adults. The Alans did some little tricks as guests were arriving and waited until all the children arrived before starting the main show. They were very good at keeping the children entertained and focused. The balloons that Stacy made were amazing! They are the best balloon creations I have seen. She worked fast and was creative. Every child loved their creation. I even had some parents ask for their contact details after the show was over. Definitely a must have at any party!

Stacy & Jason were superb in all aspects of our experience with them... from the booking process all the way through the very end of the night. Plus, Jason flew back early from a trip to be sure to make it to our event! We liked the idea of customizing the night by having both Jason & Stacy there - they could play off of each other and it really made the experience fun for the guests. We had approximately 250 people in attendance for our "Gala" and they interacted beautifully with the audience! Our attendees absolutely loved them! A++++++++

I coordinate many events throughout the year for my company but was asked by an organization to assist with an event that I have worked with the past couple years. I have never been tasked with hiring a magic act though so this was a first. I began my search where else but google for local magicians. Many popped up but seemed complicated to reach out to. The Alans website included the you tube videos which were very helpful and I inquired right online and they responded very quickly. The conversation began with Jason asking me a multitude of questions to understand what we needed and said he would email a quote. He not only emailed a quote but created a personalized video with a link for me to share with my group which really helped us seal the deal with them. I reached out to Jason for a contract for the event but I still had another evening for this weekend that we were trying to raise funds for additional entertainment. Jason was kind enough to keep both dates open and provide contracts for both as well. His flexibility and that fact that he responded so quickly when I asked him for details made it extremely easy to work with him and his professionalism really stood out. Now Jason's and Stacy's act is really amazing. With a group of skeptical architects from 5 different states, you never know how they will react. Jason and Stacy went from table to table focusing on each group and dialing in on the personalities. As they completed an act, the roar from the group was hilarious. Everyone looked at each other with amazement and most said out loud "how do they do that". This is the first time I had to coordinate an event for this group and I hit a homeroom with The Alans. I can't thank them enough and I look forward to seeing their show closer to home.

Jason brought a great show to our cub scout banquet that kept the kids laughing long after he left! The adults enjoyed the show as well and he had a lot of audience participation. The Alans recently provided entertainment for our staff Christmas Party, and they were incredible, our minds are STILL blown. Booking was easy through the gigsalad website and they did an awesome job of keeping us informed on all the details. Jason and Stacy were able to customize our show specifically to our dealership, and they even created a trick for us to present our Owner with his Christmas gift. They provided strolling entertainment including mentalism during our cocktail hour which left some of our guests amazed an thoroughly freaked out (in a good way). The actual show was funny, high energy, and MAGICAL! Our staff can be a little reserved at times and from my recollection, they received 2 standing ovations. Hosted an end of the season youth sports party with about 20 kids and 20 adults. The show was great for both the kids and adults. Jason used several kids on stage multiple times and he kept everyone's attention the whole show.

Jason was a wonderful addition to our entertainment at our gala's after party. I work for a medium-to-large sized nonprofit that was holding a 30th anniversary gala. This was a black-tie event with a mix of healthcare professionals, volunteers, philanthropists, and our community that we serve. Jason's act was very appropriate for an after party setting and our guests raved about how fun and charming he was.

I wish I could come up with a better adjective to describe how awesome Jason was! He is super friendly & he entertained us all!! I threw a SURPRISE 10th birthday party for my son & every one of the party guests loved the show!! He made sure to include all of the kids & put forth extra effort to make my son a part of the show! We had a couple little ones that were running crazy all over the place, but his professionalism allowed for him to keep up his performance without missing a beat, even with little rugrats at his feet! I had Jason out for my Parent's 50 Anniversary dinner party. Jason was prompt, professional, and he blew some minds with his close-up slight of hand tricks. He stayed busy and roamed from table to table entertaining the crowd. Everyone enjoyed it. I was a little behind the scenes cooking and I kept hearing "Nooooo... How did you do that!!!??" Jason Alan's show entertained a crowd of great variety (ages 3 - 60) with non-stop entertainment and energetic personality for my son and daughter's magic themed birthday party (Antonio 9 and Ellianna 3). Both him and his wife (assistant) were down to earth and AMAZING with all children, they exude patience. I am a perfectionist when it comes to all my events including my children's birthday parties and he followed through on every special request with a smile and prompt responses. My family has had the pleasure to see Jason in all of the above venues. Our introduction was a stage show at the Country Club of Hudson - very interactive. We then found that he was doing his roaming act at Bar 145 in Kent and decided to check in on him. Not to our surprise, he was again outstanding in his roaming act. So much so, that we continued to go back for every Family Night that we could - especially with the urging of our girls - 9 and 6. Jason did an excellent job of entertaining a small crowd of various ages at a private combined birthday party for a 7 year old boy and 80 year old grandma - ages ranged from 5 to 80! He was able to capture their attention with his professional execution of magic tricks as well as family-appropriate comedy and banter. He was prompt, enthusiastic and organized. He quickly set up his act inside of a restaurant, with minimal requirements, allowing the guests and party hosts to just enjoy the show. Booking was a smooth process done online from out of state. He had great follow-up after the party and several party guests have already expressed their interest in having him perform at their birthday parties. Party guests talked about the show for several hours afterward, and even a week later, were still trying to figure out how he did some of those tricks! We wanted an entertainer to entertain during a company event at our home in August for 150 of our employees, Board members, Bankers--people who come in from all over the country once a summer for this Annual meeting. It was to be at our home this year and rather than solely drinks and conversation during cocktail hour, I wanted someone who could engage and flow with the group and help make that casual time fun and interesting. We hired Jason just from his info on the web and really hit a home run. People loved him and were just dazzled by his magic and sense of play. We were so very pleased and would highly recommend him to any kind of a group as I found him flexible and able to thrive in the situation. Jason Alan magic was one of the best decisions we made for our daughters special wedding reception. to be honest i had seen Jason Alan magic perform at a show my church held and was floored at how awesome he was. i came home and told my daughters all about the show. many months later i got a phone call from my daughter saying she and her fiancee had attended a bridal show and Jason Alan was there and he does table side magic at wedding receptions. with absolutely no hesitation i said book him, she did and we did not regret that decision at all. He was very professional, courteous, and entertaining. Many of the guests commented on how he was so good with interacting with all the guests at each table. I would highly recommend Jason Alan magic for any occasion you may have.

Jason did an amazing performance for my sons 10th birthday! The party guests loved his magic tricks and the adults were amazed at how he did them. I just had Jason to entertain a group of kids at my daughter’s birthday party where siblings of friends were invited too and we had kids from 4 to 11 years old all totally enjoying the magic show Jason performed for them. It was absolutely awesome experience. Getting things organized with Jason took just some short time via email and was very convenient and easy. Jason kept kids completely engaged and laughing all the time of the show, all eyes on him and all hands up to volunteer to assist in the next trick. Of several kids’ birthdays I organized over the years, I think this one will be remembered for years. This morning after the party kids were marching to school talking about Jason’s tricks with objects right in kids’ hands that transformed, multiplied or vanished mysteriously. In my opinion Jason is a must if you are looking for a professional, friendly, reliable, very reasonably priced, very easy to work with entertainer who can put a wonderful spark on your event that people will be talking about. We held a corporate Family & Friends Grand Opening which provided a wide range of ages. Jason was a huge hit with all age groups. Very friendly but very professional. We hired Jason to perform at a Cub Scout Event. This was a family event and Jason was fabulous. I heard numerous people saying how good he was. He often included one or more of the kids in his tricks and did a great job with them. The kids were very unpredictable in their responses and Jason just rolled with it. Everyone laughed and had a great time. When the event was over several parents told me that Jason was our best entertainment yet. Thank you so much Jason you helped make our event a huge success. A must hire for your event! Jason Alan put on a wonderful magic show for our 2nd grade classroom at Hatton Elementary School. The kids were amazed and entertained. After the show the 2nd graders were all trying to do magic tricks like Jason. It was a great working with him and we highly recommend Jason Alan magic.

Jason has been doing a great job Tuesday nights at Bar 145! Since he has been performing table side magic our Kids Eat Free night has grown. We look forward to continue to work with Jason and possibly have him start to do adult magic behind the bar on Friday and Saturday nights.

If you want entertained at a function this is the act to hire. What a great job he did including the crowd to participate and making it a "happy" "fun" time. We are the talk of the town because of having Jason at our party!!

Jason was hired by my company to perform at our holiday party. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical when our company said they hired a magician for entertainment. To my surprise, Jason was AWESOME! We booked Jason Alan for our nine year old daughter's birthday party based off the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed in the least. He was fabulous and we have been talking him up for the last four days. He took on 20, nine year old girls fearlessly! The laughter, shock and awe, and smiles on their faces was worth every penny. Very appropriate humor for the age level, arrived as scheduled, no problems what so ever. My six year old daughter who was present for the performance wants us to book him now for her birthday party in August.

I was at a party where I knew no one he came to my table and asked for my help with a trick which put me at ease and was fun. When the show started he had everyone's attention and never missed a beat. The magic he performed was great wish he hadn't had to stop when he did. I wanted to take a minute and let you know that everybody at last night’s daycare party was extremely impressed with your show. The teenagers that you chose for the card trick and the fork bending trick are convinced that you are a wizard not a magician because they can as they put it “figure out magic tricks” but are still baffled at how you did certain tricks last night. Two of the daycare children who are 6 years old, wanted to know if we could have you back for our Christmas party, but after discussing it with the other children they are afraid that they would offend Santa if they gave him the boot for you. I told them I would talk to you and Santa and see what we could come up with.
Many of the people that saw your show last year were really impressed with the changes you’ve made and how you have stepped up the show and made it more inclusive. Keep up the great work and we will see you (and hopefully your wife) soon!!

Jason was hired to do my daughter's 8th birthday party. Something I must say before writing this review is that we always have somewhat "above and beyond" parties for our children. Our son is now 15, but he has had a magician in the course of prior birthday parties 3 times. Therefore, I am not naive to what to expect versus what I want. First off, when I called Jason for information, he was so professional, down to earth and easy to talk with. He asked what I wanted - a first for me and he listened to what I had to say. He then added his suggestions. So, right out of the gate, I felt I had made a pretty good decision in hiring him. Not to mention that this is what he does for a living - this isn't some side job that is mediocre for extra cash. On the day of the party, he arrived early to get set up, he was dressed casual and ready to perform! He was so friendly and had to perform for a difficult audience of 24, 7/8 year old children - plus he still had to impress me and my husband... that happened immediately. It went from being a pretty good decision to hiring him to a Yippee - I found the perfect entertainment. From the time he did his first trick, till the time he finished, he held everyone's attention (appx. 1 hour). He not only included my daughter in the tricks, but he included other children as well. He had fresh material - not substandard/old stuff, and he kept the kids awed the entire time. Oh, did I mention that my husband and I were amazed the entire time. You don't have to listen to my opinion, but what I can tell you is that if you don't and you choose somebody else - good luck. Jason is the real deal and is fantastic. You would not be disappointed. This is one party that, even if I wouldn't have taken pictures, will be remembered fondly forever....Thank you Jason for making Mia's 8th birthday a "magical" time. You will definitely hear from us again!

I have hired Jason for events for the past 5 years. He has performed for very large events when I was the PTA president for our local school to a small birthday party for my son this past Sunday. He really listens to me and my ideas for the events. This past Sunday he included my son in many tricks. He also had my niece come up to help who is 9 and has Autism. He picked the perfect trick for her to be involved in and it brought tears to her mom's eyes & mine.

He may cost a little more than the average Joe magicians floating around but he is well worth it. He has much more experience & expertise that will make your event so incredibly fun & special for our guests.

I would definately hire him again & recommend him to anyone!

Two days after our event and I am still left scratching my head and saying how did he do that?? Plus the kids and adults are still Talking about our afternoon with Jason.

If there was one think I could change about our day and experience...I would have booked Jason earlier, before he made prior commitments, so we could have him for the whole 6 hours of our event!! Everyone was so bummed when he had to go.

Watching all our guests laugh and jump up and down in excitement begging Jason to do it again or do another one was such a rewarding experience.

Jason was not only entertaining but he took interest in our event and was open to doing what he could to help us. In the end I didn't feel like a client but an old friend.

Fantastic show, Jason performed for our Therapy class reunion for a group of 100 alumni. We were left in awe by his amazing magic acts performed at table side during our social hour. All we could say was "How did he do that"

Jason came to our final dinner for our Association's Semi-Annual Meeting. The members were clapping and laughing throughout. He went from table to table and incorporated each guest into his act. We had only hoped he would have addressed the entire group at the end with a showstopping trick or something of that nature.

He got along and included the kids with his acts.. had the audience in aww ,, and everyone asking for more even after his shift was over which he gladly did.
