I have been performing over 15 years and I have extended my song list to well over 400 songs, which include songs from the 50's through today. I perform at all of the Babylon Town Festivals throughout the year. I regularly perform on Fire Island, The Vineyards, and backyard parties have become my favorite events. I have plenty of references if you would like, and I would love to perform for your party/event! If you would like to see many of my live performances, please type "Jason Flashner" into Facebook and go to videos on my page. I can be a solo act, but I also have a great bassist and guitarist whom I perform with, so if you would prefer a 2 or 3 piece band that can be arranged.
What an awesome event, thanks to Jason and his repertoire of hits and fan favorites - he even took requests! Awesome musician, great performer, and cool person! Highly recommended.
I heard Jason perform at a local bar and took his card. He performed at my 35th birthday party and was fantastic. It was a backyard party with about 40 people and he was able to get everyone up and dancing/singing. Would definitely hire him again.
Jason is always punctual. He has an awesome set list and great equipment. His guitar skills are amazing. I look forward to having him back for our next event.
We hired J Flashner for our daughters birthday party because he was highly recommended by a close friend. What an excellent musician he is, he really put on a fantastic show. He played songs from all genres, some original songs he wrote and even took requests and played them perfect. We highly recommend Jason Flashner to anyone looking for a musician for any kind of event/party

I offer a song list that spans many genres and generations. I always have a loop pedal with me and will often use it to play rhythm and lead guitar at the same time. I play with a lot of energy, but can always "feel the room," and I am extremely professional with providing a good sound level for your audience. Some of the artists who I cover include;
Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, The Beatles,CCR, Mumford & Sons, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, The Rolling Stones, and many more.
Jason is a singer/songwriter from Long Island, New York. His music crosses various genres, and his intricate songwriting combined with his powerful rhythm guitar, captivate his audience. .
He has played at venues spanning across Long Island, including Long Island’s famed vineyards, on the East end. In 2012, He was touted as one of Long Island’s “up and coming singer/songwriters," by 92.9, W.E.H.M radio. His song, “Click and Clash,” received airplay on W.E.H.M., after winning a local songwriting contest which was sponsored by the radio station. Since then, Jason has been a feature interview on local FM stations, such as WUSB 90.1FM. Most recently, the first single, “Alive Awake!”off of his new upcoming album’ was featured on the popular Tri-State FM station, 90.7 WFUV.
It has been 6 years since Jason released his second album, Indie Tale. His new album, entitled “Rocks and Roots,” is set to release in all digital media outlets on 4/1/(link hidden)e album will have one side of “full band” tracks (Jason plays all of the instruments on the album**) and one side of the same songs, performed acoustic, solo. The video for the first single, “Alive, Awake!” premiered on 11/26/21, and it received airplay on 90.7 FM WFUV as well as being featured on numerous playlists.
After recording Indie Tale in 2014, Jason took a long hiatus from his recording studio (Flowstream Studio), and shifted his focus back to songwriting, and performing in the live music scene. However, once the Coronavirus Pandemic became a part of our lives, Jason instinctively found himself back in his studio. However, this time around, he chose to immerse himself in learning more about the equipment surrounding him, as well as the overall recording process. “As soon as we began quarantining, I began to research ways to get a better sound in my studio. I would spend hours a day on Youtube, learning about tools like EQ, Compression, and slowly but surely I began to have a much better understanding of my equipment. I also started to really get into drums and bass guitar, and about 1 year into the quarantine, I realized that I not only had a bunch of songs that I needed to record, I also had the ability to record all of my parts. I did this for Indie Tale, as well, but 6 years later, and with my new passion for recording unfolding, combined with being a more well-rounded musician, I was suddenly extremely excited to be back in the studio.”
The new album features songs ranging from catchy pop to acoustic folk to indie/alt. rock. As aforementioned, listeners will be treated to 11 tracks, recorded both plugged and unplugged, for a total of 22 tracks! “Originally, my intent was for this album to have that big, full band sound. After I completed the album with all of the instruments,and my passion for recording was reignited, I decided to record all 11 tracks again, this time with just me and my guitar. I spent thousands of hours inside my studio during Covid, and I hope my passion for my craft is evident on this album.”
Jason Flashner is the epitome of an “Indie Artist.” His evolution as a creative musician and songwriter is evident throughout the album.
All that I would need to perform is an outlet. I have different PA's for different occasions/events. I use Bose speakers as my PA's.
