Old school acoustic performer. No smoke and mirrors or tricks. Just soulful heartfelt expression on acoustic guitar with a warm, beautiful, vocal sound. Acoustic versions of a very diverse list of songs that is always growing. In addition, also very passionate about songwriting and performance.

I’ve had the pleasure of booking Jason monthly for my nursing home residents and he did not disappoint. He went above and beyond for them! Learning wedding songs, favorite songs, and names of my residents. Jason Hilliard is an amazing musician in any setting. I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing him perform locally and I promise, you won’t be disappointed! He is perfect for any event!!!

Jason came to our rest home for our Spring Fling Festival and he was the PERFECT fit! He had great music the entire time and a great personality to match. What a great night of walking down memory lane. He begins to play his guitar and sing and draws you in for an evening of amazing music. Classic music, his own original songs, and his beautiful arangement of songs we all know and love. What an absolutely incredible night . What to Expect
I have a quick set up time . I use quality gear including Bose and EV components I play quality instruments also. Sound is important to me. I typically run out of a single speaker unit on a stand right next to where I will play. If more sound is required, that can be accommodated. Typically I run my own sound from the stage. One-man show. If there are no house lights, lighting can be accommodated as well. I roll out a small rug and set up. I also play a foot drum.
About
Inspired by my father at a very young age, I have been performing music in different capacities my entire life. Playing out is my idea of a good time. I love to entertain. I love to laugh and sing. I started writing songs at the age of 19. Although I do love performing my original material, there are many songs by other artists that I truly enjoy performing and make my own. Music is a journey.
