Jason Nelson

I offer standup comedy that is well rounded for all people. The beautiful thing about booking me is that I can assist with the production of an event. I produce comedy shows that not only encourages comedy to be great but considers the importance of customer service. I understand that audiences are not only paying a fee at the door (pending the arrangement), but it includes food, drinks, clothes, fuel, babysitting etc. I appreciate that because the members of the audience could be anywhere but they chose to be there with us (myself, the venue and other performers).

Jason Nelson was born and raised in Saint Louis, Mo. As a kid he developed a reputation for being uniquely funny. Humor is what helped him to cope with the challenges of being raised in crazy environments. Between watching his mother and her boyfriend have UFC styled fights and a father who proclaimed to had gotten custody of Jason to no longer pay child support, jokes for Jason became a way of life.

Jason has traveled the country with his own brand of comedy, engaging people in conversation and leaving them leaned over in laughter.
At any given moment he will switch speeds from a nonchalant, wit filled delivery, to rapid fire rawness. Some describe his comedy as a perfect blend between darkness and light, always standing on the edges of both.
