Talent Show winning rapper and Ascap Member Jason Valentin, (aka JasonV) has released his first independent EP, To Whom it is Prepared, Through the established Company Holy Will Records. JasonVs first EP was released on 02/14/2017. The Florida-based artist has currently focused his work on Christian Music Ministry in reach of a Pastoral office.
He explains, “I’ve struggled for 6 years establishing a solid foundation, spiritually and career-wise. I have been gifted to create inspiring messages through music and am positioned stronger now than I've ever been. My finacial problems may have tripled but my passion for what I do is unlimited.”
True to the precedent he set very early in his career, JasonV presents spiritual truth with fascinating rhymes, from a unique perspective. Only this time he does it with a more powerful approach than previously. And at the core is one central message: My peace I give you, not as the world gives, Give I unto you. For I will not leave you comfortless.

I am 40 years old Brooklyn, East New York, born an only child in 1976.
I am also a full blooded Puerto Rican with no children or wife.

I've listen to hip hop music since 81. My step brother Eugene would write rap music when we lived in Brighton Beach N.Y. which inspired me to write also. In 89 my family moved to Springhill, FL and I began writing music and recording them on tapes and haven't stopped writing since. My rap name was F.L.O.E and I freestyled with my neighboring friends.

During the summer of 1994 I moved to Tampa with a girl and met some Rastafarian musicians. I was unaware that this specific group of people was rich in their music and mainly about Zion and taught parables of YHWH. I believe they had connection to Buju Bantan.

I never had help or money to record or publish any of my music so my mother Sylvia bought me a Akai MKII 1200 digital studio in 02, it was then when I recorded my first gangster rap album. The Album had 22 songs on it 15 were hotter than the average good rapper and I still had about 12 song unfinished on the digital recorder.

In 08 I became a reborn Christian and converted my style of rap to Christian rap music and haven't stopped yet. I understood my Lord's favor toward me. I received [ISAIAH 53:12] Much spoil for being too strong, as I [2 TIMOTHY 2:3] Endured hardness as a good soldier of Christ Jesus who was preparing me to [REVELATION 2:26-28] To overcome as I [PSALMS 23:4] Walked through the valley of the shadow of death.

I still don't have the proper connections or funds to get my CD industrial Ready, just a hope of making it out alive with what I can produce. I am also utilizing my rap style to increase my Christian pop and soft rock which I am still in the process of vocally fixing.
