Wherever we go, it's an 80's party ready to happen and it's always about having a good time. We are a 5 piece band, that can scale our sound to the size of your venue. I would give zero stars but not an option……I was speaking to this band about a 50th Birthday Party and they quoted me an amount for 3hrs. They were very responsive and communicated well until I asked if we could negotiate the price since they were only providing 3hrs of play instead of 4hrs. I was getting the same quote or less for 4hrs of play. Once I asked about a lower cost they sent me a message on this site saying unavailable for my event. I sent an email to the lead person through his email we were communicating through about what happened and that it was fine if they could Not reduce the cost. I told him I was ready to book them and they straight GHOSTED ME! I asked for an explanation and never got a response. That is completely unprofessional!!!! Maybe it’s a good thing I didn’t put a deposit down, do not recommend them if this is the customer service you are going to receive!

We gave Erica a 7 day option, which expired without any reply. After the expiration date, Erica contacted us to negotiate. We offered multiple concessions. She asked for extensions on her option - OK. Asked us to learn special songs of her choosing - we agreed. Asked for our setlist - OK. Asked us to reduce our deposit fee - Once again, we agreed. Each time we assumed the next concession would be enough to satisfy her. It wasn't. Some people are never satisfied. Eventually we were no longer interested. Entertaining for someone is very personal. I want to be friends with those to which we perform. We've been doing this for 5 years now and never had a negative confrontation with anyone until Erica. In the end, she was not our client. In my opinion, this leaves her review without merit.
If I could give 10 stars I would. One of the best bands around. They’ve been playing for me approximately 31/2-4 years. Everyone of them are extremely talented & when all 5 are together they’re fantastic. The Java Llama’s have become one of my all time favorite bands & also great friends

You can expect some good time 80's Top 40 music performed by a seasoned group of musicians. We pride ourselves on big harmonies, a diversity of instruments, and good times. We usually play 3 hours, but we can do more or less as your situation may entail.
We love the 80's! The Java Llamas are an 80's Top 40 cover band (Some say 80's Tribute band) that enjoys the fun music from this classic era. We are all from the Ellis County area and have been playing together for nearly 5 years now.
You can expect your favorites from bands like: Prince and the Revolutions, Cindi Lauper, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Joan Jett, INXS, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Phil Collins, and so many more. The one hit wonders from this era were some of the BEST and we cover that too!
Tech stuff: In general, we plan to play 3 sets (at about 1 hour each) giving you 3 hours of music entertainment. We can provide the sound equipment, or we can use your PA system if that is something you plan to provide. We do not currently have a light show.
We are capable of scaling our sound to the size of your space. We play large stages, small stages, and even wine bar sized settings. If you like 80 music, you're going to love the Java Llamas.
We can bring our own PA and equipment. We don't have a light show, but if you provide one, we'd be psyched about it! You just provide a stage or some floor space and we'll do our thing!
