Response from Jay Hewlett:
Great party, crowd and fantastic host! Thanks!
Jay was perfect for our venue. He brought the funny and provided non-stop entertainment for our guests. He closed with a bit that caught everyone off guard and got one of the few standing ovations at our club. I've booked him again and will be working with him in just few months.

Jay is a comedian that does a fantastic job at entertaining any audience he performs for. As a booker and entertainer myself, he is a class A act. Very funny and relatable to any audience.

I have worked with Jay many times, and booked him even more times. He is consistently funny and appeals to a wide audience. Being in the business I rarely laugh myself unless taken by surprise. Most comics just nod appreciatively. Jay has "surprised" me several times!
I had to select a date in order to write this review, but I have worked with Jay for over 15 years.

I have hired Jay numerous times for shows I produce. He never disappoints and always leaves audiences wanting more. A true professional all the way!

About
Jay Hewlett has been there; done that. He’s a man with a mission and no mission at all. He’s in tune with the times and out of tune with everyone. He’s a guy that thinks goals are for goalies. He does everything right and yet stuff happens to him. He figures it must be a conspiracy. Like the time he didn’t pay his phone bill. He got letters like, “Perhaps you forgot. “ “Maybe it slipped your mind.” He wrote back: “Nope, no freakin’ money.” They canceled my credit cards. How do you expect me to pay my phone bill?” See, stuff happens to him. “And I don’t get it,” says Jay. “ I’ve worked hard to achieve so little.”

Influences & Inspiration
A little bit of Rodney Dangerfield and Dave Chappelle mixed in with some Luis black. Jay is has a unique comic persona and comedic character. A guy that doesn't quite get it, but you will. Grat improv and a killer music and dance ending sure to bring on a standing ovation.
