Jay Renee

Born with the blessing of vocal talent, Jasmine Isaac has been singing since the age of 5. Her upbringing in Durham, North Carolina included participating in programs that allowed her to develop her gift. From honor choruses to All-State choirs, Jasmine took advantage of every stage opportunity through her high school years. Understanding the necessity of perfecting one’s craft, she attended North Carolina Central University and graduated with a degree in Music Education, concentrating in Voice. Her passion led her to join The University Choir, The Jazz Ensemble and The Operatorio while completing her studies. Upon graduation, Jasmine knew she had to take her talent to the next level. She began connecting with different groups while developing her unique brand and sound. This prompted Jasmine to embrace her total artistry, birthing Jay Renee. Her special love for music coupled with quality skill makes her deliver high energy performances, becoming one with her audiences. Whether through the old school classics or modern day melodies, her vocal ability will touch every soul within listening range. Jay Renee has performed at the annual African American Festival, Annual Bimbe Festival, and various venues across the Carolinas. She continues to pursue platforms that will allow her to share her creative artistry worldwide.

Sound and Lighting

We prefer an overall natural sound and low audience lighting, moderate stage lighting with minimal processing and effects to sound. Light reverb and compression on the vocals would be appreciated. Lighting can be discussed during sound check.

We assume that the PA provided is a quality system. We also assume that all monitoring is non-feedback approved and all microphones are quality as well as amps, keyboards and drums microphones. Furthermore, we assume that a qualified engineer will be present to handle the performance sound. Failure to communicate these assumptions to be false within a timely manner may result in additional fees and less than favorable performance.

We are able to provide our own sound and engineer for the event at an additional cost (if it was not included in our contracted price). Please advise of the need no less than “7” days before performance date.

Sound Check

We will need at least “1” hours for sound check if sound is provided by venue or event. If we provide our on sound, we will need at least “2.5” hours to ensure proper set up and sound check

Back Stage (FOOD AND DRINKS PROVIDED BY PROMOTER)

WE WILL NEED “1” LARGE SIZED DRESSING ROOM. This dressing room will need a bathroom (in close proximity) and mirrors for dressing purposes. We would like to be as comfortable as possible to ensure our performance is at the maximum result. (NOT NEEDED)
